Comment:

Brutal. Her teaching style is erratic and unpredictable, she will openly speak about individual students grades in class and she bullies and verbally abuses students during lectures. Often after a test or quiz she berates her students for not performing well enough. If you'd like to pass, learn from someone else.

The professor is harsh when students attempt to participate. Almost everyone does poorly or fails her quizzes, and you might as well teach yourself. The textbook and what she teaches dont go together. She also isnt very helpful when you ask her questions outside of class. If you have her I suggest you switch immediately.

Great professor that actually makes you think and work for a grade, not an easy A like every single other class at this community college. Even upper level math courses are still easy A's. Wish she would teach other classes!

Youre better off teaching yourself in her classes. Shes wildly unprofessional at times especially when she picks on students harshly. Shes not a professor who goes out of her way to help you either. Also doesnt answer all emails/questions and takes forever to respond to emails.

She is not the easiest person to get ahold of if you need help outside of class. She takes a long time to answer emails. She picks harshly on students. She does not go out of her way to help students. Overall the best advice: if you have her change your schedule!!

Comment:

Calc based physics is a hard coarse, but A professors job is to give their students the tools they need to pass the coarse. She doesn't do this at all. Its a shame that NCCC won't hire another calc based physics professor. I put a ton of time into this class and am still worried about passing, If I do Id like to thank Youtube videos.

Very tough professor. from India so somewhat hard to understand. Also, when you take a test, you do not get the full amount of time that your class is. failed many tests because I was rushed to finish just because everyone else was done and she wanted to teach. Doesn't go over notes very well so be prepared to teach yourself all of the material

Knows her stuff. She expects you to work hard to earn a decent grade. I liked her accent. I do not think she was difficult to understand, just have to pay attention. Best advice: do the work and go to class!! No freebies with attendance.

She prepares you well for future universities. Be prepared to work hard. If you are not a slacker and work hard you will do fine in her course. She is very helpful if you are willing to work with her. I loved this teacher, others hated her.

she is a very easy teacher as long as you show up to class and semi pay attention in class. i bring my laptop to class everyday and type out my notes and do the homework in class bc she answers the questions or goes over it in the notes. only complaint is the scrap book she assigns for the end of the semester, she is very strict on sources.

I have never complained about a teacher or professor before, and will continue that streak because Dr. Pande is neither of these. Spends approx. 15 min each class period just telling the students how poor they all are, often picking on kids very harshly. Also spends much of class talking about irrelevant things, then tells us to just read the book.

Very nice woman! I'm not a major, but as long as your attending class, she is very helpful and excited about what she is teaching. I didn't have a problem understand her, i actually enjoyed her accent. some students claimed she was hard to understand?either way her subjects can be difficult for some but as a teacher she is understanding fair.
