I have her right now for Lake Ecology at UMaine. She is a great professor and I have learned a lot from her class. There is no homework, which is great and the tests are not too rough, just make sure you attend lecture and take good notes. She is super nice and knows her stuff about lakes!

Be prepared to take 5 pages of notes each lecture. She doesn't use the book at all so if you miss any class be sure to get notes from someone in class. I didn't learn anything from her. I had to go to the lab to learn what was going on in lecture. She's a moron... What professor makes jokes about how often men ejaculate? Not Professional!

Great teacher! I'm terrible at science but still got an A in the class. Her lecture notes are very easy to follow and the exams come straight from the notes. You don't need to read the book at all. She lets you out early a lot and cancels class sometimes.

Dr. Saros seems kinda moody. She's nice but isn't overly friendly. One day she blew up at the class and I didn't even know she was mad, and she just walked out b/c nobody would participate, so make sure you give her feedback! I like her tests, there are no surprises at all. Just go to class and take notes. Easy, but a little too vague to me.

This is a great class! Talk about easy! She spells out the exams in her lecture. She has great organizational skills and the lectures and notes are straight forward. If you show up to class and read your notes every night, there is no reason you should not get an A in this class.

Hahaha, pretty easy material, but she doesnt seem too bright so I'm not surprised at how basic the material was. not enough points were available, and she graded a lot harder than i think was necessary. plus, if you dont kiss up to her she automatically dislikes you, i think its because she doesnt have a sense of humor/get sarcasm.

Let's face it, if you're not a Sci/Pre-Med Major like I was, then Biology will be difficult. If you're the last in line for registration, Saros isn't a bad professor, she was quite helpful when I took her. Plus, she is **** hot, and with a name like Jasmine...ah, my imagination.

Havent taken our midterm yet(our only exam),but knowing how flaky she is in lecture and lab I can only imagine what she'll come up with. You really don't cover much at all in lecture, just take notes on her packets. Her topics don't flow very well so if I had to connect 2 ideas she's given us, I couldn't. I wouldnt take this class again!
