He is a very nice guy and a great professor for higher level classes. I did have some chemistry background going in and it really helped, but if you study and do the review guides, you will be fine. He is kind of soft spoken, so sit near the front to hear

Such a great professor, I would take him again in a heartbeat! For General Chemistry, he was very clear in his lectures and was easy to follow and learn from. He is very understanding, kind, and there for his students.

Weidenhamer was super nice and willing to help, but his class was sooo hard and he is not the best at explaining the material for those who do not have a stron background in chemistry.

Dr Weidenhamer is a super nice guy and great professor. He is always willing to help outside class and he is a super nice grader. I would take a class taught by him again in a heartbeat.

Comment:

One of the few professors that actually makes it a point to return your graded labs to you before you're next one is due, even to the point of extending deadlines until he has finished grading! You really have the chance to learn the material with him.

He is one of the best professors I've taken so far. He is ALWAYS available for help and puts his students first no matter what. He is very intelligent, but he has trouble getting his point across sometimes. I would definitely recommend him for any chem class. He is such a sweetheart!

Comment:

Yes, I fall asleep in his class. He has a monotone voice, soft spoken. He requires a little too much with all the reading and lab reports and papers on top of it, I'm not in it for the science, just to get the science credit out of the way. But this is the class to do that.

Dr. Weidenhamer is an excellent teacher. He is very clear and very helpful... This is the class to take if you must take a science class, but hate science. He is a socialist though.
