She is so great. Sure it's a lot of reading but L.S. 233 was so much fun. So many fun projects and you really get to know your classmates. Colby is such a wonderful person and i absolutely would recommend taking her class.

She is an easy teacher but her lectures are very boring, there is also a ton of reading and you have to make journals about them for a grade. Not a fun class and I would not recommend taking it with Colby.

i would not recommend taking ANY of her classes. the class is way but the lectures will put you to sleep. i hated going to her class, it was absolutely pointless. people were only there because it was part of their requirement

I really like Dr. Colby. She's a very easy grader, there isn't a ton of work in the class, and she's genuinely a nice person. She has her classes do some off-beat assignments, and I respect her for that.

Ok here's the deal: she is an extremely nice person, grades very easy, and assignments are not too difficult. However, her class is SO BORING and the in-class discussions are pointless. I would not recommend taking her again.

Dr. Colby is the worst teacher EVER! She isn't clear at all. Her grading makes no sense. She has told students in my class (I Quote) "I don't really pay attention too much when I grade." and "The points don't really matter when I give a letter grade." Her class is hard to follow and the amount of busy work is stifling.

She is an awesome professor and she is really eager to help. She is really considerate and understanding. Some people say that the lessons are a little bit dry, but it really is impossible to fail the class. The work is very do-able. It takes a little bit of time, but it is nothing too tedious.

most of the class is spent doing busy work. homework and inclass assignments are unclear. basically I thought that going to here classes was a wast of time. I felt that I could have learned more from ready all the text. She did nothing to help.

Jen. Colby is the worse teacher I've had! I took her Into. To Teaching course and walked away from that class having learned nothing about the essential tools for teaching. Group work is her thing. Her class may seem easy, but teaching is absolutely not her strength. Avoid her at all costs!!!!!!!!!!
