Participation a must, grading criteria NOT CLEAR, a lot of work that makes absolutely zero sense, tough grader for absolutely no reason, and this is all coming from a student who generally does well in school and is FLUENT in spanish, whereas she makes lots of mistakes when speaking and writing. Not fair/ doesn't take anything into consideration

So Ive taken Spanish class before. But with this 201 class its graded like Ive been taking Spanish all my life. Literally every little detail shell take off so many points. I dread this class and waking up for it every morning. She doesnt make anything interesting and makes the work the most tedious thing ever. Cant wait to get out of this.

Well, she is extremely old and very old fashioned. No phones out in class or she will literally take them. She gives alot of homework and if one day you do not have it one day will call you out in front of the whole class. Tardiness is not something she tolerates, if you're more than 10 minutes she counts you absent. Do not take her. STAY AWAY!!

I was very nervous taking this class as I am not good at spanish However, I really enjoyed it. I had to work for my B, but learned a lot in this class Professor was a very nice lady, accessible outside of the classroom, lots of extra credit opportunities to bring up grade. Very clear grading criteria in syllabus. LOVE HER TAKE THIS CLASS

She is a really great professor, and made me understand the Spanish language more. You go around and answer the questions every class, so make sure you do your homework correctly. Very nice and helpful teacher, you cant go wrong taking her class.

We read a lot of plays/other works and go over them in class but not as thoroughly as I'd like. I'm a Spanish major and I really like her because she cares about the content and is very knowledgable, but we don't read like line-for-line. Make sure you're reading summaries (in English if you want) online so you get the basic gist of what's going on

She was very nice. I took spanish for eight years so this was an easy A for me. You have to do the homework. During class all you do is go over the homework. Attendance is mandatory, she will lower your grade. Tests are based on what you do in class.

She is a sweet lady, but she never reminds you about homework and gives SO MUCH. It gets a LOT HARDER as the semester progresses. I have no asked her for extra help because she can't even explain things in class. The labs are POINTLESS, especially at 8am. Would not recommend for a 201-202, way too high expectations for us.

This professor is so sweet. She is willing to help you if you need it. I had to miss a lot of classes due to my health and she allowed me to work something out with her so I wouldn't get penalized. There is a lot of work for her class and the tests are difficult if you aren't good at Spanish (like me). She is such a great teacher!! Take Her!

She is a really sweet lady. Adorable. I think she has a nervous laughter, unless she's actually always THAT happy. Class is super easy, and her tests are pretty straight forward. Do your hw, she goes over it everyday in class.. it's super easy though, takes about 10 mins to finish.

Sweetest lady ever. Very put together. Class is extremely methodical. Do homework in text out of class. Go over homework in class.New material. Do homework on the new material. Go over material..etc. Found myself clueless at times, she moves at a pretty steady pace. Make sure you don't space out in class or you're gonna be outta luck for the tests.

GREAT teacher. One of the nicest ladies you'll meet, she takes time to go over anything for anyone. The class is easy, but the tests are somewhat difficult. She is a VERY fair grader though. I've gotten over half of the questions on the test wrong and still got an 80. I STRONGLY suggest taking her for Spanish. VERY helpful.
