Professor Chamberlain is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. He is one of the best professors in the department, he truly cares about what and who he's teaching.

Comment:

All your grade comes from exams, all of it, so do well on them. All content is on his lectures which he will post, you do NOT need a textbook, so don't waste the money. Voice is monotone and quite and doesn't relish participation or questions. Gives incentive to come to class by giving bonus points on exams, went to every class and got 15 extra.

This professor just dont understand that students are preoccupied with other stuff in life so its normal to give extra credit to students who wants to pass but nooo its just a midterm and final thats it folks he will make you fall asleep in minutes its outrageous how he teaches he lectures the class as if it was the 1960s Avoid at all cost be smart

He's so nice, and is super knowledgeable about what he's teaching but, his lectures are boring and his tone just can't keep you interested. I enjoyed his class, although I barely went because he makes you sign in and I had a friend who signed me in most of the time. Take him if you want to pass an easy core class.

Comment:

Speaks like a mouse, if you want a really nice lullaby to aid your sleep deprived college self then this is the perfect class for you. Reviews are tedious and makes you want you sleep even more. So if you have insomnia or the like, this class may help you! Cheers! Oh don't forget, bring a pillow or two so that you can be comfortable during class.

Speaks in the lowest tone of voice, exams are hard AF, reviews barely help, sweet guy.. but doesn't do much to help his students. No extra credit, no homework, no in class assignments.. nothing to give you those extra points.. nothing !

50% Midterm 50% Final... Sit up front or else you will not hear the lecture at all. Speaks in a low monotone voice. ALL powerpoints are online. He's pretty clear but boring. NO TEXTBOOK :)

Gives lectures that can be boring due to his monotone voice. But it was interesting because you could see how interested he is in his work and that made me interested. Went over slides in class and puts the same slides online so we didn't need a textbook. He curves exams and he is a pretty cool guy.

I really enjoyed this class. A lot of people think he's super boring (which he can be sometimes) but if you go to lecture and actually pay attention the course material can be so interesting. A really nice guy who knows a lot about his field. Midterm/Final all multiple choice. Puts slides online. No textbook. What could be better?

He doesn't take attendance and posts everything u need to know for the midterm online in slides. A midterm and final both multiple choice each worth 50% of your grade. He will give u a review sheet and will ask around 40/50 questions on the tests from it. Basically if u memorize the slides which contain a lot of information u will get an A.

He is absolutely the worst prof ever! His class was boring and on top of that he speaks like a mouse, good luck trying to hear to his lectures. i would advice not to take Geology with him. I just wish someone had warn me about him earlier..

He's well informed. Two test midterm/Final. class avg for the Midterm was an 80. Final i'd expect the same. Take him and pay attention to his lectures. he's clear as a whistle
