Comment:
I went into this class hating this professor because of all the comments I got from my friends who had him. In all honesty, he was a really good guy who cares about his students. If you're not big on tests, he gives you a chance to make up for it with extra credit. I bombed every single exam but still got an A- in the class bc of the extra credit!

Was a very good professor. The class is just very workload heavy and the lectures are long. You have to attend class or you wont do very well on the exams. Exams are very hard, but give you lots of extra credit options on the online resource that he uses.

Do not take this class if you are not willing to work hard for a good grade. The professor does rush through most lectures, but so long as you read them you will be fine. Study for the exams because they have a good 70+ multiple choice questions on each. Also, he offers extra credit online, and doing it all will pass you--if you do the other work.

Although he rushes through his lectures and leaves you wondering what he was saying since he was talking so fast, he has all of his PowerPoints posted and as long as you read the assigned chapters and do all the extra credit and practice stuff on launchpad his class is an easy A. Dont put the work offset minute and use the practice quizzes.

If you read the textbook and pay attention during lectures you should do well. Definitely not a class that you can get away with not studying. Lots of work, but you learn a lot.

In the first couple of weeks of PSY101, I wanted to drop the class. This was before I knew how helpful he was. He is always willing to help you at his office hours and encourages you to try your best. He does lecture like crazy, but copy the notes before class and you'll be okay. Pay attention to him talk because he says important things.

He is very lecture heavy and gave tests that were basically make or break your grade, while the homework and quizzes were just busy work that barely effected your grade at all. he also docent curve grades even if the whole class fails his test. do not recommend him as a professor. he's hard on grading.

Comment:
Do not, and I repeat DO NOT take this course with this professor. He lectures extremely heavy, he flies through the material and does not care if you have notes or not. The tests are extremely hard unless you know the subject already. If you are reading this after registering, I HIGHLY suggest switching classes. He is also very judgmental.

His class is straight from the textbook, but you have to know the textbook by heart because his exams will draw from the smallest details. Hard to get an A but easy to pass. Exams are 50% of the grade, with online quizzes/homework being the other 50%. Take his class if you are majoring/minoring in psych, but it won't be worth the work otherwise.

His tests are very tough. To pass, you really have to study and read the textbook before every lecture. He is a very tough grader, and teaches very fast.

Teachers straight off the PowerPoint. Reading is basically all you'll do and use launchpad for frequent quizzes. Very boring class.

Extremely helpful professor. Responds to emails within 24 hours and is flexible with deadlines as long as you complete your work consistently and have a valid reason for needing an extension. The coursework is thorough and you leave feeling that you've learned something. Would recommend!

He goes straight through the textbook for everything. He uses the powerpoint that the textbook created and all hw and quizzes are online through the textbook and not on moodle. He follows the syllabus but 65% of the grade is tests and they are straight from the textbook. I found it hard to do well on the but easy enough to pass

Comment:
Very dry. Tests are really hard. There is a lot of reading as well as online quizzes and activities that follow each chapter and you only have one day to do them. He assigns a lot of work and can never get through material in class before tests.
