I took Rubb for an online winter class. His online class is the best I've taken! He wants his students to succeed and is very lenient with late work. He was very accessible and replied quickly to emails. Lectures were long and every week there was homework, quiz, and exam but he gives lots of attempts and let you take everything open book.

Tough lecturer, even tougher tests. Maybe he's a decent in person teacher, but don't take him for Zoom University. For whatever reason he puts his homework on lock down browser, making it impossible to study from them. On top of that he put in the instructions that we would receive a curve for our tests. However, never gave us the curve.

Professor Rubb is one of the best professors I have had at Sacred Heart, he is so helpful in and out of class and is always available for extra help and review. Homework, quizzes and exams are all directly based from the textbook. If you read the textbook and somewhat listen to your lectures you will get an easy A. 10/10 professor

By far my favorite professor. Yes, textbook is mandatory and he wrote it but if you bring the book to class the lecture slides are taken directly from the book so you don't actually have to take notes just highlight stuff in it. All quizzes and exams are open note (all the answers are in the book) so easy A. Don't make the class harder than it is.

Professor Rubb is a nice guy. He is always available for office hours. I would highly recommend taking him. He is one of the easier economics professors. He will do anything to help his students pass. He gives a lot of opportunities to boost your grade.

All his quizzes and exams are given online as a take home. You have a chance to retake all tests and quizes for a second time if you werent happy with your grade. All answers comes treak from the book and practices quizes. Going to class is not manadatory, you can do do the online homework assignment instead which is super easy.

Aight, so somehow he found out about lockdown browser(It turns on your camera, prof can watch you while you take your exam. You can't have anything else open e.g you have a word doc open the browser will tell you to close the application before you can use the browser.) You have to buy a book which he wrote and it cost 90 dollars ans aren't online

Rubb is a funny guy. All his tests besides the final are take home/online and the questions from the test all come from the practice tests. You can take his tests twice if you are not happy with your grade and he lets you retake the final as well. Overall he's a good teacher, and lets you out of class early usually. Take Rubb if you can!

This is a blended econ/stats grad course which is extremely hard. Though the prof talks a mile a min and the exams are very hard, he is incredibly helpful if you fall behind. Will explain everything in email or phone. This is a mandatory class and if you must take it, take it with him. He will do everything he can to work with you so you succeed.

Dont listen to the comments below. He is a good professor. Yes, class is kind of boring, but he gives u practice exams where the test questions come from. Study the practices exams & u will b fine! I put each question on a notecard & knew them all. Got a 97. He drops the 2 lowest tests grades & if you do well on all of them u don't take the final

This guy is AWESOME!!! The second best professor I have EVER had! Relates everything to real life situations and is incredibly funny. Very easy to get a B if you do some studying and send in those E-backs. The subject matter is very interesting due to his tone and excitement. Rubb is the man.

class is definitely not a piece of cake.. studying for tests require studying for more than one night and even then you might not get an A. class is not too painful. He takes attendance once every couple of weeks and if you're there during an attendance day you get extra points on your test. you do learn a lot though...

Gives a clear plan for success. He makes hard topics easy to understand. Great at realting concepts to daliy life situations. His multipul choise tests play tricks on words. Even if you know the topic the tests will trip you up. The essay questions are what saves lots of us! Good teacher.

He is a good guy but if economics isnt your thing then good luck. The papers he gives are basically your only saving grace. he only takes attendance on certain days, but tells you before hand and if you go that day you get extra credit for your tests, which are slightly impossible.

Great Class, Very Informative. Admits he's funny looking and knows how to teach the students. But no laptops allowed and tells you when the attendance days will be.
