Started off the class very strict leading to about half the students to drop. She tends to give out pop quizzes and if you dont know the answer you leave. You have to read 6 books and 6 movies in the semester. Later on she was average. She is a tough grader on personal responses but you can make them up. Presentation at the end of the term was ok

I had her for Eng-001-Preparatory online class/ She was great Weekly Essays and discussions. She was honest when grading but gave you a chance to rewrite. She pushed you but that's what I needed

She's a sweet woman who's very soft spoken. We had to read two books and a play. She would at times give out 1 question pop quizzes. If you didn't know the answer, she'd ask you to leave, so read. She also gives out tons of 'personal responses' and grades very pretty hard. But if you understand what you're reading, you'll be fine.

I would never take this professor class again nor recommend her class. She gives no assignment for 2 weeks and then out of nowhere she give a discussion and a paper. The discussion is due 2 days prior to the assignment being posted and its just frustrating.

Professor Giordano is a really sweet lady very soft spoken. The class isn't difficult but her classes do get boring sometimes. You have to write a lot for this class. But overall it was a fair class. I would recommend her!

My experience in Professor Giordano's online class is amazing! I couldn't wait to write a comment on here about her.She helps in any way she can being that it's online. I wish all profs were more like her.She's def. an amazing mentor.Very easy class and when you tell her u want to move up to 101, she makes that a priority. RECOMMENDED

I took her class online and it was extremely easy. I wasn't sure why I ended up in remedial English in the first place because I received perfect scores on all of my assignments. If you do each assignment as she instructs, you WILL pass the exit exam as she promised you in the beginning of class. I wish I could meet her in person.

I really enjoyed her class. She seems strict the first day but I think that's because she wants to weed out the people who think the class is just going to be an easy A. She's very helpful if you are confused on an assignment, she allows rewrites, her papers truly are not difficult and if you are a good student she'll be very nice to you.

A nice and sweet prof. because of her class plus my effort, i pass this remedial course. it was my second chance and i did everything possible to pass it. and i did. she is really helpfull and very dedicated and i think she is the same in her other english classes. if you are international student,u must take her class.she is the best choice!!

She has interesting insights about Shakespearian works, and her class is enjoyable if you like analyzing literature. Shows movies often, which is a plus for me. She isnt very strict about the structure or style of your work, and will help you improve. Mostly amicable and receptive to new ideas, but can be odd at times. Overall, I enjoyed her class.

I think she is a good prof. The class is a little boring, but when we get into groups its better. If you like religion and learning from a a non religious view this is a good class. If you're into Shakespeare, she knows her stuff. At first her syllabus looks like a lot of work, but due to her absences she knocks off a paper or two. She lets you re-write your paper if you got a bad grade. In class you analyze the play, watch movies based on it and analyze again. Pretty relaxing, actually.
