Amazing professor. Makes a 2 and a half hour class fly by because she leads the discussion and brings up interesting topics. She really cares about her students and always wants to help. She is one of those people who you will remember for the rest of your life. Very knowledgable. My fav class this semester!

Dr. Madden is a awsome teacher. She gives 2 papers, graded based on clarity but quantity is mostly the grading. If you talk in class or call her it will BOOST your grade. Final/midterm is case study very easy if you can wright alot and prove point. Overall EASY class. I NEVER STUIDED OR OPENDED THE BOOK!

The subject matter is interesting but the class manages to feel like an eternity because the majority of "discussion" is one sided and coming from her. Often presents things as blunt statements which she may not necessarily believe but it comes off as such. Not organized but she lets you know that at the start. Reading not necessary but helpful.

nice professor but bring your laptop because its so boring. Interesting class but we spent almost 3 weeks on one topic. Easy B+, but if you but in a little work, you'll get an A. Talk in class, that's a HUGE grade booster. If you don't talk in class you won't do well at all.

She's damn good at what she does and is very knowledgeable. Class isn't mandatory but it really does help if you go because she truly covers all of the material she says she will be covering. The only problem is that no one can read her handwriting. SHe reads over what she has written so that helps. Very nice, and lets you call her at home if you n

She is one of those professors that you really bond with during you tenure at college, which is truly a dying breed. Show interest in the course and she'll show even more interest in you. Fair grading. VERY experienced in the field of Medical ethics. I have a ton of respect for this lady, and you get so much out of this course. Take her.

I took Medical Ethics with her. She is extremely knowledgeable about the subject. She is one of those types of professors that you hang on her every word because she's DAMN good at what she does. Very little structure to lectures and grading system, but if you want the A (and I mean truly want it), she'll give it to you. She lets you call her a

Nice old lady who would give you chocolate chunks coookies if she could. Two papers, two heavy essay tests. Lectures are useless, just discussing issues. Tells you generally what is going to be on the test. Papers are As as long as you know how to write and make a good arguement. Never really read books and still able to improv in the class.

Mrs. Madden made the class very interesting by having debates between the students about recent medical issues like abortion, euthanasia & universal health care. She wants everyone to participate, if u show your interested and debate u should get no lower than a B. Papers were easy & the final was a joke. By the she is not hot, maybe 50yrs ago.

YAY FOR DR. MADDEN! She is a wonderful lady with adorable outfits and her discussions are always fun if you have any personality at all. The papers require some thought, but it is not a difficult class and is actually fun to go to if you have rational thought or an opinion on anything.

As mentioned above, Dr. Madden is a pleasant person. However, I prefer some organization to lectures, and there was very little, if any, in this class. Too many tangents, sometimes confusing, even contradictory statements about the subject matter.

she knows her stuff, is a cool lady and understands that students have other demands. but her lectures are boring and go off on tangents. i think the only coursework is a paper and two tests, but you have to do well on those and she grades tough but fair.
