Comment:

I have heard that she is a great teacher in person, but this is definitely not her forte online. Lectures were posted late (often the night before the quiz was due). We had lectures to view from a previous teacher but the previous teacher did everything in excel and she "taught" on the graphing calculator. Look for other sources to learn material

Comment:

Difficult class to learn on line and the instructor didn't download any of the lectures. When we complained, she simply said "I know the lectures aren't posted. That's one of the disadvantages of taking an online class." I would not recommend this class with this instructor on line.

She is very helpful. Gives review questions and tests are similar to review questions. 4 quizzes, 4 tests, 1 project and a final. Gave 3 pts extra credit for perfect attendance and 1 pt for presenting your project. Gives great tips on calculators to help solve problems. Allowed cheat sheets on 3/4 tests and open notes final! Can't argue with that.

Mrs. Waters was the best math teacher I've ever had. Her anagrams to remember trig and such are very helpful. She gives lots of opportunities to raise your grade and is giving us 3 extra points if we attend every class. She makes math very easy to understand. The only complaint I have is that she was late ALOT, but she had her reasons.

This was my 2nd attempt using a different professor. Gave us a lot of shortcuts on the calculator and very detailed step by step. I use to hate statistic but not anymore. Take her class. It's an easy passing course. Just follow the steps and study and understand the formulas.

Mrs. Waters class seemed scary when I first started because the topics seemed different than the math I was used to, but once, she starts teaching the class and because she breaks everything down, her class was the best!There is nothing bad that Mrs. Waters does, take her if you can!

Mrs. Waters is the best STAT professor at CSU. She breaks down the material so that you can understand it. She shown us how to do the work by hand on the calculator! If you dont have a Ti-83 or 84 you need to get one it helps out a lot.

Professor Waters is the best professor I've ever had. Explains everything so well. No question is a stupid question. Math is not my favorite subject but she made it fun and made me want to be in class. I plan on taking her for other math education classes if she is still teaching at CSU.

I took her for math modeling and Stats 1127 and made A's in both and I SUCK at math!She is the best Stats/math teacher at CSU! She will show you neat tricks on the calculator for almost everything unlike the other teachers!Take her and you will pleased!

She is an excellent teacher, truly the best math teacher there. I will tell you, stats is not an easy thing and if you do not do your part, you will fail. She will help you, all you have to do is ASK! Go by her office during her hours if you dont understand, and trust me she will help! I HATE math, but she made it fun. Trust me.

Ms Waters is very helpful and explains everything very clearly. If you took Algebra 1&2 in HS then you will do fine. She gives great reviews before each test, and extra credit if you have perfect attendance. I'd take her again for another math class if I had the chance.

she is a great teacher! math is my worse subject, but she makes it understandable. She teaches a little each class to make sure you understand the material. She posts all your grades so you know your progress throughout class. I am glad I took her.

great teacher, but very fast paced if you take time with your math. will always answer your questions no matter how dumb. lots of extra credit. but if you fail a hw or test it's hard to make it up. the final covers EVERYTHING! from beginning to end so study hard. great sense of humor and is always willing to stay for extra help.

She was the best teacher!!! I took her for two classes this summer!! The first time I took a math modeling class I made a D because I did not understand, with her I am making an A because she makes sure you understand it!! She is such an awesome teacher!! I also took her for foundation of number and operations for edu. I really enjoyed her!!

probably the best teacher at CSU. she makes statistics very easy to understand. gives reviews before tests, that are very helpful for tests. just do the homework and pay attention in class and you will get a A. this class is not easy by far, but just work hard!

Best math teacher ever. I thought I was a math failure until taking this class. She knows how to teach to make you understand. Willing to break things down to the smallest detail. Tests are very fair, Based on the practice tests. Sense of humor. Once taught barefoot. If you have a choice, take her. You'll love her.
