Comment:

II have mixed feelings because she does not really have a connection to the students at all while being online. Just emails once a week to say what is due. All you have to do is basically just get your assignments in soon time and you will be fine. She is very easygoing with grading, as long as you try your best you will be fine.

Due to the pandemic the class was fully remote. The digital textbook was not needed she posts the labs online. Don't waste your money on the textbook. At first the lab stimulators was awful, after feedback from students she changed over to a PDF version for lab which was easier! She graded mainly based on completion. Take her online during COVID!!

When looking at lab sections for BIOL100, take it with Professor McCauley! She is by far the best for the lab. She was super helpful, easy, made the time go by fast most of the time we finished earlier and we were able to leave. Overall a great professor for the lab, definitely and highly recommend.

The best lab professor I could've asked for! Virtually impossible to not pass her lab as long as you show up. Super funny and caring, made a BIO100 lab as interesting as it could possibly be. Would take her again in a heartbeat.

A truly great professor. All she wants is for you to show up and try, she drops the lowest quiz grade (There's only 5 quizzes) and you get 10 points every week just by being there and trying, and quizzes are 25 points. She is very pretty as well. It's the easiest class I have ever taken at BSU and I am in my junior year. She lets you review too

The best lab professor! Labs are graded solely on participation and she gets you out of these as fast as she can. Lectures are clear and were my saving grace to passing the exams in my lecture class. Super understanding if you have to miss a lab. Much easier grader than other lab profs. Take her!

Easiest professor you can imagine. She's super caring and genuinely wants everyone to do well. She makes the labs really clear and I ended up getting 100's on all the labs and high scores on all the quizzes. There's quizzes every other class and the labs get out early. Definitely take her and you'll do well.

Professor McCauley is very, very motherly and caring. She will make sure you understand everything and loves animations. Basically, if you have her, you will do amazingly well. If you're doing bad in lecture, her class will give you a huge boost.

She is the nicest professor I have had thus far. Her lectures are interesting and humorous and she makes the class go by fast. Sometimes she talks a little fast, but she is never upset to clarify. She is the ideal teacher for this class, I couldnt imagine having someone else.

The nicest professor I've ever had. She is so personable which made our 3 hour lab go by so fast. Quizzes were easy and she grades homework just if you did it. If you're taking this course definitely take her!!

She is an awesome woman. She goes through every lab with the class so you'll always get a 100 on them. She breaks everything down to simple, basic terms is super enthusiastic and willing to help if you hit a snag in any of the labs. She gives 5 quizzes that are really straight forward and drops the lowest grade. Absolutely take lab with her.

she's a great professor very funny. Taken at 8AM is well worth it she makes it fun and enjoyable. Quiz every two labs, she loves helping out her students.

She's an excellent lab instructor! She walks through the lab with the class and does each step with the class as a group-you can't mess up! She checks pre-labs for completeness and the quizzes are very easy. You have to go to every lab but they only meet once a week and she usually let us out early! I would take her again if I had another lab.

She was great. Helps you through every lab. HIGHLY recommend. Study for quizzes and do your homework and show up once a week. When you show up for your first day pick a table you like, those are your group mates for the semester

She is so nice and funny. I had her for my biology lab and she was so helpful to my group and I. We didn't even have to stay in class the whole time because we finished our labs early. She even lets you have coffee in class.

Best lab teacher hands down. Sh is super nice, friendly, and helpful. She made bio labs enjoyable. She even walked us through all the labs. I would recommend only her for lab!! Will miss her class!

The BEST teacher at BSU. LOVES her topics but doesnt expect you to be interested. She is very funny and extremely helpful. DEF RECOMMEND TAKING HER LAB!
