Comment:

First, her Basic Textiles lecture class is IMPOSSIBLE to pass if you do not read the book. She does not accept late work and completely unclear when it comes to instructions. I have gone to her for help and she would not EVEN take the time to sit down me to explain to me the work. I found this very frustrating and disappointing. Good luck.

She is the best teacher in the program! She'll go out of her way to help you with any problem, even if it's not for her class! I love her quirkiness! Seriously, you just have to get to know her to appreciate all that she does, even the mundane things have a purpose.

I love Mitchell!!! Give her a chance...she is the best teacher in the program!! She is forgetful but she also is very understanding and will give everyone a fair chance and enough time to complete everything without having to pull all nighters for three days!! TAKE HER!!!

Confusing yes. I dont know if it is her fault that she is using the wrong programs for what she is teaching. Also the assignments that we did couldnt be used in the real world because the real world would laugh at you. I would not recommend this course to anyone.

She's a nice lady, but is very unclear about giving instructions. And when you ask for help she just pretty much erases your work and does something that she likes better. If you ask how to do something she doesn't answer your question instead she'll come over and start doing other things that you didn't ask her to help you with.

Mitchell aka Shelton .....Mitchell is quirky and mysterious if you dont take the time to get to know her... I thought I was just another name on her attendance but when did bad on a quiz she sat me down and made sure I understood the whole quiz and the class in general and she wasnt even my advisor! Mitchell will help you if you help yourself and show interest..Just dont bug her she's forgetful but its funny its not like students remember things! She has a life too, but if your apathetic she will be too!

Dr. Mitchell is a great professor who takes the time to learn all of the fashion students and helps them in anyway she can, even if not pertaining to classes. Over the years she has helped all of us out when dealing with deadlines and stress. it can be frustrating about what she wants but she will find time to clarify.

She's a very nice professor and aftering having some of the others ones for DSN 111 it was nmice to finally have a fair and nice teacher unlike Dr. Clevenger. It is true somtimes she doesn't make sense but at lease the work load is easy. Not the best but she's nice to work with.

We should get our money back for this class. We had to present the same thing 3 TIMES! When asked about a particular grade she walked out of the class for 15 mins. Study guide had mistakes and the same questions. She didnt do much and oddly- no eval's
