I have taken Kaz for both Eng 1101 and 1102. He is by far the best English teacher that I have ever had. If you are not open minded and not willing to hear other views than your own, this is not the class for you. However, if you are open to new ideas and willing to accept his style of teaching you can and will learn much.

I was nervous about taking another English class before experiencing Kaz's approach. He comes off as opinionated, but just wants the class to take active interest. He doesn't give A's unless you earn them. I learned more about the English language and rhetoric in his class than in any of my previous English courses. CNM Fired him. Unacceptable,CNM.

Very different kind of teacher. Smart, opinionated, depressing, liberal,and fun sometimes. Thinks religion, especially christianity, is ridiculous and will tell you so. Thinks many American policies and rules are stupid. Argue with him, he likes it and will give you extra credit. Maybe.

He is a pretty nice teacher, he loves questions. He tends to talk a lot about things he doesn't like, especially politics, unless you ask questions to keep him distracted. Just do all your papers and joke around with him and you will do fine. I would recommend him if your open minded.

Kaz's class is very difficult, but if you try hard you will pass it. He really cares about people writing good papers and inspiring his students. If you write a paper that you mean what you are writing then he will recognize that and give you a better grade. Takes a lot of time and effort but is worth it.

some of the negative comments are outrageous. He hand made handouts on syntactic reduction that are incredible. I am now at UNM, and I keep copies of his handouts for each of my classes. I use them in my english 400-level classes.

he is very self centered. kept rambling about politics and how much he hates george bush and howmuch he hates america, about 50% of the time he was actually talking about english.sort of condescending when you ask a question.i attended every class and had a high B when i stopped going cuz i couldnt listen to him talk anymore.i didnt learn anything

Mr. Dziamka will make you a better writer, if you complete his class. Take your work seriously, DO NOT work on it the night before and you should get a descent grade. Slacking will not cut it! You have to make sure you follow his guidelines PERFECTLY. He will give you a handout about 2 weeks before an assignment is due, stick by it and you will do fine

Kaz is an amazing teacher, he knows everything about the language even if he is polish. Political but not too much, just enough to bring up discussion about essays. Although you will definitly hear at least 1 rant about Marijuana being illegal, but who can blame him :)
