Comment:

I had her for social science 200 and the biggest complaint I had is time efficiency with her grading. She assigned lots of papers/essays and feedback was only given to me on one on time. The other 5 or 6 essays were not given feedback until the end of the semester by the time another final essay was due. Points also were lost for odd reasons.

I took the class online and she acts like we have no other class but hers. I bust my butt to answer forums right and mostly they are opinion based, but somehow I am receiving C's and D's. I am an A student. I do not recommend her, she uses the class as a authority establisher and never even gives feedback on what you did wrong. I would rate her 0

Horrible teacher. All she wants to do during class is talk about herself and her own problems, although she will never actually tell you anything. just hint at stuff all day long. She is always having a bad day. Comes off as very lonely and wants you to come to her office but just to see her, not for work. She is a BAD teacher

I absolutely loved this class. Kelly used some of her own personal experience,which I know from personal experience is diffficult. It made her class more real. She spoke in depth about different mental illnesses and personality disorders. Kelly is not just an amazing teacher,she is an amazing women as well.

Kelly meens well but she does use her classes like her own personal therapy session. She is not intrested in setting up times to talk to students about questions they have. Her usual reply is "its online" which does not help me. I do think she is not a horrible teacher but not very interested with student interaction.

A very good teacher. I have had her for three psychology classes so far. If someone is actually serios about psychology and willing to actually put forth effort...you will learn a lot. Psy 101 students will enjoy the way she opens up psychology to! You have to work, but the quality of her teaching is awesome!

I really liked psychology BEFORE taking her class, but now not so much. She teaches from the book and the book website. If you like reading textbooks, take her class, if you like actual learning and/or fun find a different prof!

I've never had kelly for a psyc. class but I took her for sociology (gender studies). I thought she was very nice and was able to make the information easy to learn. She does make you write a lot but it helps you learn the material.
