He is a very nice guy, but is extremely off task and does not really teach you much. He Is hard to pay attention, because the lack of enthusiasm. He is super easy to get A's from, but paying for this class is a waste of money. But if you want an easy A, this is definitely the class for you if you do not care about what your money goes towards.

Hard to take seriously. Rarely accomplishes anything in class. Tells a lot of stories and bashes any point of view that disagrees with his. Definitely an easy "A" but not worth your time. I hated going to class but went because he takes attendance every day.

Olson is an incredibly easy grader. He enjoys getting off topic and telling random stories. I really didn't learn much of anything in the class, but it is definitely an easy "A". Lots of group work and discussions involved.

Never liked English until I had Kenny Olsen. Best teacher in the English dept. We wrote 3 papers the whole semester and most everyone received an A or B. Take him at least one semester, he teaches you life lessons as well.

This guy is AMAZING!!! He's hilarious and has a ton of stories! If you get the chance to take him, DO IT! There's a lot of group work in the class, so if you don't spend a lot of time on the readings you'll still be fine. He's kind of hard grader on papers, but if you get hlp from the writing center you'll be just fine! I give him two thumbs up!!!!

Great professor, makes class fun just do the work and you will have fun and he won't get mad. If you get a chance take HIM!! I took English 100, 200 and Irish Studies they are were great and fun. He does require a lot of class participation so if you don't like talking in class don't take him. Class is not just a class it has life lessons in it

Super easy- you don't even have to read all the assignments. Just do good on the writing portion of his classes. Really funny and nice guy. Class is super easy- just show, you'll do fine. Nice way to slip through the "hard" English requirements at UWRF.

Such a great teacher, he made a boring english class very enjoyable for all of us. Has a great sense of humor, even when he is in a bad mood...definitely show this guy respect and you'll get it back 10 fold
