Farley is awesome- his quizzes and exams aren't too tough if you actually spent time studying and reviewing the material on your own. The HW is basically your exam, so you need to know the homework inside & out. If not, go visit him for office hours. He's incredibly fair and reasonable, but you do need to put in your fair share of work.

Dr. Farley is a tough professor. The homework can even become a burden sometimes. However, he isnt really strict with due dates. True/False is probably the most annoying part of the exams, he picks at such small details. Stay on top of your homework and do it honestly!

Manhattan college needs to get better environmental professors. He is just arrogant. He burdens you with hw and hard quizzes. The true or false questions on his test are just waste of time and super hard.

I do not like this guy at all. I cannot stand his arrogance. Hes a smart guy and a pretty good professor but he is just so arrogant and talks about himself a lot. Gives quizzams a lot. Homework is very difficult. Does binder checks at the end of the semester. The final was the hardest exam I ever took and Ive taken harder classes than this one

Dr. Farley may be the better than the other environmental teachers, but that doesn't mean he's a good teacher. During class, he works way too slowly and skips examples in class and passes them to do onto our many homeworks. The homeworks are very difficult and will leave you frustrated. The tests have many memorizational portions within T/F too.

Dr. Farley is an amazing professor. His lectures are great, he's very sarcastic, but really funny. If he likes you, you're set. His tests are decently challenging, and he gives tough homework, but he is a really great teacher. He doesn't give a lot of quizzes, but he wants you to succeed. Take him for anything you can, he is great.

Dr. Farley is the man. I would take him again, this was my first class with him. One thing is he takes you skipping class personally, I did it once and my homework was not returned before the next quiz. He is very willing to help, and the best part is, HE SPEAKS ENGLISH. Probably the coolest professor I've had so far.

Really tough class. Homework was an absolute backbreaker. Grading was fair but tests were very hard. I'm surprised I did as well as I did because of the difficulty of the class.

Awesome guy, his class will keep you entertained, and it may not seem like you learn much but when it's applied you realize how much he drills in your head. Easy grader, but takes homework pretty seriously, it's his way of know if you're keeping up. Take his class for sure though.

Interesting course. This professor knows his material inside and out and is always there to help you out with any questions. One of the best engineering professors at MC. Listens to his students and adjusts around their schedules.
