FUNNY and strict, but the amount of homework is INSANE! Class & homework require 30 hrs/week. This is just ONE class!! If you have other classes, a job, a wife, kids, or expect to do anything other than his class you are fooling yourself. Holy Homework Batman! The tests aren't bad bec they're based on homework, but WTF with the homework?!

Professor Kia may have a tremendously big ego, but You could say that about anyone who is as brilliant as he. His teaching method is very old school-- he teaches from knowledge and experience of the subject, rather than from the textbook. The class, however is difficult if you are not one to study. Overall he is a great teacher.

Kia is a great teacher. He makes sure everyone understands what he is teaching. He'll make the class fun so its hard to fall asleep. I highly reccommend taking Kia's class because he really knows what he's teaching unlike some teachers!

Kia is freaking crazy. He made statistics fun, and i ended up with an A some how. If you are going to take his class, ASK FOR HELP! Set up study sessions and not only will you learn a lot, it will also show him you are making the effort to learn.

Kia was hilarious and very sarcastic. He also helps the student whenever they don't understand a problem. I kind of had a hard time taking this course, but i think it was just due to the fact that 6 weeks is just too quick to take a math class. In the end i enjoyed the class very much and hope to have many more teachers like him.

Absolutely Hilarious teacher!!!! He really made statistics fun and interesting. Attendance isn't mandatory but he makes you want to come to class! If you have the chance to take his class, do it! Don't buy the book, you don't need it! Oh and he really loves Disneyland!!!

Took the summer course (6 weeks), went by quickly because Kia was always joking around probably to keep everyone awake during a boring subject. Take notes and attend class everyday and do the problems on the worksheets he gives you, no need to buy the book. Grades easily since he considers a 60 a C. Would def recommend taking this teacher

funniest guy ive ever seen at occ. always cracks jokes in class, if this class were to be a 30 person class it would probably have been funnier.great guy though, goes outta his way to tutor you. meets u at coffee shops n helps a lot. he loves cars so a car person would get along with him well. btw kia, skiing is fun, boarding is better =)take him

I am not a math person so this class was definitely rough... however, kia makes you laugh every class, so you kind of in a way look forward to going there. he's always willing to help, and the tests are graded fairly, even though they have time limits. he gives everyone nicknames. i still mistankingly answer to mine when i am out and about... haha
