Taking KJ for Hemingway. Really engaged, fun discussions. KJ is very personable and cares about his students, and he strives to create real relationships with his class. In this class there really isn't a lot of work. No quizzes or anything, just one research paper at the end. It's just a really enjoyable-low stress class. Red hot chili pepper!!!

KJ is the nicest prof I've had at LMU and knows that you have other classes to worry about. This class is really paper heavy, you pretty much turn in a paper each week. There are quizzes on the readings, as well. He really wants you to do well and will work with you if you just ask for help. Participate as much as you can if you take this class

KJ's classes are very work heavy. You have quizzes every week, a ton of readings and have a LOT of money to spend on printing. He is very passionate about his job which is a good thing and makes his classes interesting but you have to participate in class as much as possible. Its also very hard to get a A or even a B.

KJ is an awesome person in and out of class. As long as you do the work and put in the time it's easy to get a good grade. He is approachable and likes to see his students succeed. As long as you treat him with respect he will do the same to you.

KJ is a good professor, and a great guy outside the classroom too. His class was tough, a ton of reading and most of it comes from the assigned textbook which he wrote himself (which is good, but maybe not the most interesting thing in the world). He makes classes fun, is engaging, and cracks jokes to lighten the mood. Happy I took his class!

KJ Peters is the hardest Professors I have ever had... as a freshman in his Rhetorical Arts class, he expected and I am almost quoting here a senior thesis. He expected his students to use all of their printing money, $20+. His feed back was alright at best, and you better hope that he liked you, otherwise your 15+ hrs a week spent on hw was wasted

KJP really cares about and respects his students. Sometimes he's a little goofy but it all good. He also gets mad when students aren't trying but that's only because he really cares and I know it hurts him to get angry with his students. He's a busy guy but ALWAYS makes time for his students. Although he's well respected he does NOT have a fat ego

KJ Peters is truly one of a kind. He will make you work for your grade, but he is not a jerk about it. He gives you the opportunity at the end of the semester to write him a letter explaining what grade you think you deserve and why. Plead your case well and you can get a good grade even if you slacked a little.

KJ Peters is one of the most enthusiastic professors I have met so far. He is very passionate about his work and his students. If you need help he will be there to help you. ... However that being said his class is a lot of work (Rhetorical Arts). If you want to just skate by and get credit for your core, he is not the professor to do so with.

KJ is a teacher that has your back completely, he actually cares about this students, and the most important thing he wants to see is that you're putting in effort. There's no busy work, everything you do in class will be working towards your research paper and speech that you'll give at the end of the year. Would highly recommend taking his class

One of the smartest teachers at LMU by far. He preaches a lot of extremely important take aways and a student can gain A LOT of information and knowledge from this class. As a result, this class is not that easy, but worth it.

I've taken KJ's two of KJ's courses now, and he's the best teacher I've ever had at this god forsaken school where the teachers don't care. He is kind, funny, intelligent, and genuinely cares for his students. He wants to do whatever it takes to help them succeed. He doesn't put up with BS. Be straight with him, do the reading, and you'll be fine.

Dr. Peters is a great, super fun teacher. However, there is a ton of homework every week so be prepared. The work is very helpful to your overall paper and his class will most definitely make you a better writer. If you want to take his class be prepared to write a lot!

Hands down the best teacher I have EVER had. He is the type of professor that will revive your passion for learning and education. If you have the opportunity to take him, please do! I can't put into words how truly, truly amazing he is. Definitely my role model - his excitement for life and the material is contagious.

Cool guy and clear passion for teaching! Only complaint would be the crazy amount of homework in his rhetorical arts class. This class definitely needs a lot of your focus. If your schedule is tight, I wouldn't recommend it.

Big emphasis on giving speeches in RHET1000, had to give a 15-min speech in front of Hannon for the final, but he's super helpful with it and earnestly tries to help each student as an individual. I tried to lay low in his class 'cause I'm kinda shy, but he was already onto me about it and tried to get me to talk more. Great guy!
