She literally tells you what slides she will test on, and her test questions are incredibly straightforward. Just study the slides she notes really well, down to the exact dates, and you will do great in her class. Showing up and paying attention in class is important but she is an amazing lecturer so it shouldn't be a problem. Very friendly!

Nothing was very clear, everything was very vague and surface level when it came down to stuff that really mattered for marks. Questions were answered very vaguely and made it difficult to gage what she wanted, but test was not to bad. but content was interesting. Wouldn't get much help at all when needing clarification. Confusing

Kory is hands down, a great prof. She knows her stuff, is very clear, repeats it often, not in a boring way, but in a, "This is Going to Be On The Exam" kind of way. I learned a lot about the struggles of Canadian-Aboriginal Peoples (1100). 3 fun Journals., 1 paper, 1 exam...GO TO CLASS (she takes att.), & listen to her knowledge & experience.

I got an A- in her Aboriginal Studies Class and I'm Asian! Kory is a motherly teacher (very confident, kind, patient)...I was a bit worried at first on how hard her final exam would be but it turned out that I overstudied for it.

Awesome. She is a Hard marker but she keeps the classes interesting by having aboriginal women speakers come in. This has been one of the best classes I've taken at Langara.

Great teacher! Many times she goes off topic in class, but everything is still very interesting. Her 2 hour classes do not get any 10 minute breaks, it can feel very long! Hard marker, one must exceed limits to get 100%. Very easy to aproach. Attend classes, hand in your journals and do your work!

Excellent Teacher, Beautiful Person. Cares about students. Very knowledgeable. Classes are discussion based and interesting. Fair exams, long-short answer, mostly just show proof of learning - but study readings and remember dates/important events! More feedback on returned essay would have been nice. Definately one of my favorite profs at Langara!

I Love her! She is focused on law. Don't forget when Canada became a country. Its on every test. She is honest and clear about what she wants from you. It's not easy, you have to work for it, but its striaghtforward. She is one on my favorites. She doesn't coddle students;she teaches them.
