Comment:

I took up to Spanish 3 in high school. Yet I can barely keep an A in her Spanish 1 class. Unnecessarily hard grader on exams and lingua meetings (where youre expected to speak in ALL Spanish) our class average is failing on like everything. If youve never taken Spanish before, this class will consume your whole life.

Comment:

Ms. Britt is the one of the best teachers I've ever had at South. She LOVES Spanish and she shares her enthusiasm with the class. She uses oral exams instead of written which makes getting an A easier. She cares about her students and her class was fun. Wish I could have her for 132.

Comment:

Love her! She is the best teacher I have had so far in my whole school career! She does verbal tests and as long as you do the homework and show up to class, this class should be an easy pass for you. Homework is due every other day and it a big part of your grade! She is very funny and out going 10/10 recommend! Taking her again next semester!

Comment:

Absolutely love love love Mrs. Britt! I took her class when she was experimenting with doing verbal assessments instead of written tests so it was pretty easy. She's a great person, really cares about her students, is hilarious, and makes going to class fun. Lots of homework but it's very manageable. Lots of in-class activities so sit by good ppl!

Ms. Britt is an awesome Spanish I instructor. Her exams are oral which are easy because its the stuff we practice everyday in class. Participation is huge part of your grade so don't miss class and aslways participate. She's VERY HELPFUL to her students. All negative comments are from students who didn't try.

Professor Britt had a new teaching method this semester so our Spanish class was probably one of the hardest classes. Although there was a lot of work I still enjoyed her class because she was a great professor & the main ones that complain about her are the ones that don't do the homework, super easy at most times. Her exams are a bit scary though

Not sure how she has gotten this rating. I experienced nothing but difficulty in this class. She doesn't answer emails and expects you to ask her any questions in person so that she can make things make even less sense. Her class shouldn't even be offered to beginners, I image her teaching style is better if you already know the language

Nice but not helpful. IDK how she has a 4 rating. Doesn't take doctor excuses and participation is a big part of your grade. Not a good spanish 1 teacher, might be better for spanish 2. Very strict and has little empathy. Passionate about spanish but not about helping you learn it. you'll hear "read the syllabus" and "ask tech support" alot

It is Spanish 1, so it is not that difficult. WRONG! There is SO much homework and it is ridiculous. Participation is key. She learns your name really quickly (which I love) so expect to get called on every class. Make sure you have your book. Definitely, study because it makes a HUGE difference if you do not. Overall. Lot of work. Just study.

She is nice and passionate. She has a very high maintenance class. The heavy textbook is expected to be with you at all times. Lots of homework, the blanks in the textbook are blanks in the homework so you are basically taught by google. Ridiculous grading criteria when it comes to participation 15% so you must stay on top of everything or get a 0

Sra. Britt loves her students. She is enthusiastic! I loved the way she taught spanish. However, I did have to spend some time memorizing the vocab. My spanish lab was a PAIN! but I got through it. I really like Sra. Britt. She is like a 2nd Mom. She gives good advice. I bet studying abroad with her would be an unforgettable experience.

Mrs. Britt is really good at her job which made her class extremely enjoyable. She really knows her stuff and does her best to make it relatable to you. She always encouraged students to come by her office if they needed more help and would usually tell us when pop quizzes were coming. Extremely nice with pretty entertaining and up to date lectures

She is amazing and has a real passion for teaching Spanish. She really helped me when I was questioning my skills, and she is always there to help in any way she can. She is probably my favorite teacher of any teacher I've had. I wish I could take more classes taught by her!

best spanish teacher. sad i wont able to take her class this fall. 6 exams, the listening section is definitely the hardest because they talk so fast. very interactive in the classroom, i ended up getting a High B wouldve gotten an A if i did the MySpanishLab hmwk stay on top of doing hmwk its easy to forget to do. she's very helpful & makes it fun

Mrs. Britt was a great teacher, the class is difficult at first because it is all in Spanish but she is sure to make sure you understand what is going on. She keeps the classroom atmosphere light swell which takes out a lot of the stress that usually accompanies foreign languages.

Mrs. Britt is AWESOME! If you need to take a foreign language this is the class and teacher to take! She is very helpful and clears up difficult concepts in class! Her tests are easy if you apply yourself in class as well as study the material. I received an A in her class.
