One of the weirdest classes I've ever taken. She knows her stuff for sure, but is very unorganized. The class has very little structure, and she might not even know how far behind on the syllabus she is. Get ready to write papers since she doesn't give exams, and you better be a good writer because you will not get much feedback on anything.

No matter how often you participate and support your thought process with examples from the reading you will feel like you are a complete idiot. Her syllabus is disorganized and she does not offer clarification on what is expected on the written midterm and final. She does not hand back homework nor does she give feedback. Goodluck if you take her.

I had to drop her class. She is not very nice, totally unresponsive to emails or questions. Is a tough grader. It's unfortunate because I do think she is a very smart and interesting woman. Just not a good professor. Avoid.

This professor was the worst. She was constantly behind in assignments. She does not distribute her grades according to her syllabus. She issued alot of last minute assignments that was not on her syllabus. When she's absent she tends to pile up extra work, that she never grades. She has a tendency to issue low grades.

She's a GREAT professor.. I highllly recommend her. her class is soo easy, the politics core class, she gives you all the information you need ,, you don't have to read the book. just take notes and you'll be more than fine. GREAT PROF.

Excellent. I could be mistaken, but this is college, not community college, not a low rated college, a fairly good college. She teaches at Pratt, a good school too. Her teaching is enticing, hilarious and motivating. I don't know how she taught in the past, but I did not see any type of the "totalitarian" behavior said in just about every comment.

She made me really uncomfortable at the beginning of the semester, but by the end I learned to take her offensive comments with a grain of salt (ex. "Your boyfriends should beat you" for not knowing details of Women's Liberation Movement in America). But in the end, I warmed up to her. She means no harm; has a lot of passion and zest for life.

This professor is not nearly as bad as she is made out to be. She challenges you and gives a fair amount of work, but the discussions are rather interesting. She doesn't push her beliefs on you but does force you to think outside the box. If you are open to other perspectives aside from your own, take her, you will enjoy it!

I took her my freshman year, glad to see she is still driving students nuts...Worst mistake you can make is taking her early in your college career, if you must take her take her when you are mature enough. She only acts nice to other profs, not to her students. The level of comfort in her class is about the same as an interrogation room...
