I didn't like her attitude. She seemed depressed all the time and grumpy. I wondered if she was burned out and didn't like teaching students anymore. Go figure.

Not specific about what she wants, does not help (sends you to tutors for anything) gives you work as if her class was the only one you're taking. By far one of the most ridiculous classes i've had to take. i love the subject, her teaching style not so much. Avoid her classes, nobody I know has liked any of them.

She is good at explaining lectures but bad at explaining work. She is a very VERY tough grader ! You better check your work more than once cause she will find the smallest thing so you can get a bad grade ! I have turned in all my work and have a C In the class the only thing helping me is the test !

Excellent teacher! Brilliant. Changed the way I view discipline with children. Easy to reach anytime. Fun team assignments during lab hour. Disagree that she is picky and wants perfection. Either your paper is objective or it is not-- it's that simple. Take this class--best teacher at SWC.

She is very unclear, from the beginning you feel lost. Her lectures are easy but the group activities are tough. She is a tough tough grader and wants you to be perfect. Tip: If it does not make sense to you, ask! She is confusing with what she wants.

SHE IS MEAN AND PICKY. YOU NEED TO WORK IN GROUPS,AND SHE IS NOT FAIR GRADING.SHE USES BORING POWERPOINT FOR EVERY SINGLE CLASS.MIDTERMS AND FINAL ARE HARD TO UNDERSTAND. SHE DOES'T MAKE CLEAR QUESTIONS AND THE WORDS SHE USES ARE HARD TO UNDERSTAD. THE GOOD THING IS THAT SHE GIVES YOU EXTRA CREDIT IF YOU ARE EVERYDAY IN CLASS.

I've taken 2 semesters with her (total 4 classes). She had encouraged me to pursue Child Development career. She also allowed me to use her as one of my professional reference. She's wonderful and a great professor. If you're not diligent, detail-oriented and organized student, you will not like her. I love her. She has been a great mentor to me.

Cool instructor! Absolutely "NO" excuses unless accompanied with a doc's note. She has inspired me to finish school & get my BS in CD. Dont stop at just a certificate get the degree, it pays off.

She is a really good teacher! She explains things very well and has many different ways of earning points. You will have to work in groups, but it's fun. Take good notes and try to read. Also show up to class and you will get bonus points at the end!!!

Do not take this class if you dont like group work. All is based on presentations and she is very picky when doing "Naturalistic Observations" Make sure you get all your work done and it almost has to be perfect. Otherwise she will FAIL you!

Professor Gallo is awesome! I learned alot in both courses. Her teaching style is unique and easy to understand. She provides excellent input and feedback! Her lectures are really similar to true life experiences. Dont procrastinate and you will do fine! Excellent instructor, will take again if she teaches another child development course!

Professor Gallo is straight forward with you. What she brings to the classroom is geniunely real. I've learned so much information from her class, I have been able to apply what I learn in my daily life. Professor Gallo has inspired me to pursue my Bachelors in Child Development at SDSU!

She was very organized, her assignments were very fun to do. The quizzes were very easy (T or F answers) and the group projects were fun to do. The midterm and final were the best ones I've ever had in my entire education career!
