Tends to over-explain some concepts, but she is very accommodating. Tests are pretty similar to the HW and the practice tests. Both of the professors who currently teach this have their strengths and weaknesses, so choose the one that will work best for you.

Behavioral stats is a hard class anyway but Lisa does a pretty good job explaining things. I hated the textbook because it used different terminology than the professor so you have to take good notes. Not a lot of homework but when there is they are kinda big. Exams are pretty straight forward and similar to the study guide she gives you.

Dr. Isenberg has the same voice tone for her entire lecture. If it is hard for you to pay attention I would not recommend. If it is easy for you to fall along she is a great teacher. At times she goes at a slower pace but again this could be very helpful If you don't understand Statistics.

Very boring lectures, it is hard to understand concepts when she is explaining them because she jumps around a lot in lectures and sometimes forgets to explain things. Would not take any more classes taught by her.

Sit in front and take notes. She is such a nice lady and is always willing to help but if you are not great at math you will have to work a bit to understand the abstract concepts. pay attention from the start it all builds on the concept you learned the week before.

For someone who does not like math she was an awesome stats professor. At times she went a little too slow even for me, but I appreciate not flying through important concepts. The only real complaint I have is for one of my tests we had to do a problem that we had never done outside of a lecture problem. No homework on it so I wasn't prepared.

Don't forget your pillow! Most boring prof ever, but the class isn't awful. The other stats prof moves a lot faster so if you're not one for math, I'd stick with Lisa

Boring. That's all I have to say about her. I know she teaches slower than the other guy for Stats so if you want to go slow she's okay but I almost fall asleep every day. She also cannot explain anything

Lectures are boring and are hard to get through, and not much is learned during them. Tests are mostly on book material. However, she is very nice and willing to meet to go over any of the material. Is willing to negotiate deadlines with the class. Teaches concepts in a clear, but boring way, and then rarely asks about those concepts on the tests.

Stats was easy, but she sometimes taught like we were in elementary. I got a good grade in the class because i never missed a class but if attendance wasn't mandatory then I wouldn't have showed up everyday.

Hard to stay awake during lectures. Really nice lady, but her lectures get so boring and drawn out. In our stats class we spent an entire 50 minutes going over how to round numbers. She's an awesome advisor though and is really helpful if you approach her.

She bounces up and down and says um & k every other word. She spends so much of her time drinking her stupid coffee and staring at the back wall while she is talking instead of looking at the class, she hardly has any time to try & teach the class her useless examples. Oh & dont expect to finish a test in her class, not possible. p.s. nice clothes

If you go to her class you can do fairly well. She is can be somewhat boring but she is a great advisor. I personally avoid her classes but I am happy to have her as my advisor. I think she would be better off teaching grad level courses. She is too smart for undergrad.

Lisa is extrememly knowledgeable and has a gift at making difficult/abstract comments understandable. It is hard to do well in the class if you miss even one lecture so show up, pay attention and you'll do well. If you do have trouble with a concept, she's great at meeting with you outside of class to explain concepts again. Very nice too!

Had her for a memory/thinking class. Seems to be a very nice woman, but like the other rates, she is quite softspoken, bouncy, and dry. There is at least 15-20 minutes of each class that I cannot be accounted for because I have fallen asleep. Tests are somewhat tricky, but read the book/skim the notes and you should pull through.

Can not "dumb down" the material from her very big brain. I tried to see her several times after class to get help with several others and I just couldn't get to her level of thinking and details. I believe the class is Sense and Perception...

I've had her for a few classes, and she is extermely dull. She also speaks very softly so it isn't advisable to sit in the back of the classroom if you want to hear her. Her tests can be hard and I would avoid another class with her if I had the choice. Still, if you need help she will give it to you. A nice woman, just boring and bad at lectures.

I also counted how many times she said "k" in one class period. on a day in which we had a quiz, i counted 155 within the hour that she spoke. That's around 3 times per minute. She speaks very quietly, and her examples suck. Everything she says is worthless. Almost as worthless as she is. Worst teacher ever.

There is no point in going to class just read the book and do study questions. I went for the in class points and a nice hour and a half nap. Besides, if half to 3/4 the class is sleeping that should tell you something. Avoid this teacher! Oh yeah and she always showed up for class at least 5 min late.
