Fantastic professor! Lectures are very interesting. Tests are somewhat challenging, but doable. He grades fairly and has a history of curving. He has been known to provide Extra Credit opportunities as well. I wish this were my major so I could take more of his classes!

Very nice and responsive teacher, really wants you to do well and understand. Makes the subject interesting! Assignments are generally easy but kind of lengthy.

Comment:

Loren is an excellent professor. There is a lot of reading but it's fairly interesting.He knows a lot about archaeology, so he makes it interesting. Usually a midterm and final, plus quizzes or lit. reviews and participation points. I learned a lot from his classes and recomend this professor to everyone. Well worth the money we are paying!

Very good teacher. He likes what he teaches and so it makes the class more interesting. He also takes the time to answer questions well. The readings are pretty boring but a lot of the test questions come from the text, so keep up. Overall pretty easy as long as you go to class and read the book.

I highly recommend any of his classes. Occasionally he'll send you on a wild goose chase in the library, but he grades fairly easily and there are usually assignments or an attendance grade or something.
