If you're an artist and you're hoping to actually LEARN something, steer clear of this guy. He doesn't "teach" anything - he just expects you to copy stuff. I can do *that* at home. I want to learn methods and techniques in college, not waste money on supplies for unfulfilling busy-work.

The professor has a nice personality but sometimes a bit confusing. He does not teach drawing but introduces painting. The problem with his class is that he gives so much work I was totally stressed out and was up until early hours of the morning trying to complete his projects. The class made me so ill, I eventually had to drop the class.

Nice guy, easy class, but he doesn't teach you anything new. Just tells you "do this" and grades you on your work. The most advice I ever got from him was "put a little more pink in there". Bad grader.

Okay, this guy seems to like art but sucks at teaching it. The most annoying thing I find is that he doesnt really explain what he wants - just shows an example and sends you off on your own. I'm usually clueless until he reviews the assignments in class but at least I get a chance to change/fix things up b4 midterms and finals.

He's easy, and if you do your work, you'll get your A. However, if you really want to learn about painting, he's probably not the best teacher for it. I didn't learn very much at all, just felt like I was copying other artist's styles.
