Comment:

I was extremely disappointed with Cronins attitude during class. There was elitism (negative talk about people she considered hobbyists) as well as impatience when students didnt grasp techniques quick enough. Her TA did most of the actual work with students. Cronin is a skilled artist, but doesnt have the personality to teach. I withdrew.

Steer clear if you still love art. I was very hopeful when I first came into class, and admired her work, but Cronin is not fit to teach students. Beginners face unfair standards, she will call you slow and get fed up if you're struggling to understand a concept. Has no patience for teaching. I dropped this class to maintain my love of art.

she is such a discouragement. she is very talented no doubt but she could appreciate more of what students are doing mostly when they are trying so hard. not everyone can come up to her expectation and she should understand that. There is no need to be so rude and harsh. same thing could be taught, being lot more nicer.

she taught me how to draw! a dream i never thought i would see realized, she also gave me confidence in myself as an artist, she was very suportive and constructive. The best art teacher ive ever had!!!

i really enjoyed her class. she was insightful, and she's always there to help whenever you ask for it. her class was fun and loose so the atmosphere was nice, certainly nicer than biology!
