Engaging and interesting. All online due to COVID, but was really easy and simple. Only have 2 assignment do every week that don't take in my opinion over 1-2 hours if that. Papers usually two pg double typed and prompts interesting and make it very easy to do so. Very important to go to class or else, you will be lost and get points deducted.

Professor Raymond is a great teacher overall, it's just her grading I'm not the biggest fan of. I was in her UWRT1104 class and I had a 98.7% with all assignments completed except for the final projects. The two "final" projects were worth 90% of our grade. I understand it's a big project, but other class work I've done should not be worth 0%.

Professor Raymond did a really good job of transitioning our URWT class to online format. She is super sweet and always willing to help. There are usually two writing assignments due every week as well as daily writing which you will do in class. The prompts are not tough though and they are actually fun to write about. Take her for UWRT

I loved Raymond. Handled the online transition very well by reducing the syllabus and really listened to her student. The class runs just like a high school english class but you do have to write ten papers over the course of the class. She makes this course as fun as it can be and I would strongly encourage taking from her.

Professor Raymond created a warm and supportive atmosphere in my UWRT class. It was the 4 credit studio class, so there was a lot of work, but she was very open to creative interpretations of assignments. I did not expect to enjoy a writing class - I am a STEM major - but hers was my favorite class of the semester.

I gave her a low rating because I felt that I was discriminated against. I missed multiple classes for being in the ER, flu&bronchitis, etc. I had notes that were approved by the school. She would not accept and didn't give me excused absences, hurting my grade. I found out she excused a football players absences for a minor injury, but not mine.

She assigns lots of homework in the form of writing prompts and "studios". She is very nice but does not really do any teaching, which doesn't matter anyway because all you do in that class is write and talk about writing. She gives good feedback on your writing assignments so that you know what to fix for next time.

Fairly easy course. Show up to class and turn your work in and it should be an easy A. Her directions can be confusing so if you are unsure about instructions then email her to clarify. Overall very approachable and would definitely recommend.

Gives far too many projects that all individually take days to complete and then has them all due within a few days of each other instead of pacing them out over the semester.

Professor Raymond has been my favorite professor at UNCC so far. Although attendance is mandatory, you get 5 unexcused absences which is nice. She is also super nice, helpful, and grades relatively easy. Take this class if you want any easy A.

She is helpful and enthusiastic. You'll have to buy a book and read weekly. There are tons of projects and a lot of writing outside of class, but it's easy stuff (just time-consuming). She isn't a very easy grader, but as long as you follow directions you'll come out with at least a B. She takes daily attendance and is very interested in your life.

Professor Raymond was amazing!!! She is always available to help and really cares about her students. There are about 4-5 big projects in the class that contribute to your final grade but majority of them are easy. There are also a lot of ungraded writing assignments but they help to complete each of the projects. I recommend taking her!

Very nice, but she is also very, very confusing. I came in the first day with the 30 page syllabus and she didn't explain a thing. None of the projects were explained well in it either. Overall easy class, but a lot of writing, which isn't too bad. She doesn't really answer questions very well either.

Extremely nice. Very funny. Class was a breeze. No tests, no quizzes, no final. Show up for class, because she does take attendance. Makes you keep a portfolio of work. 1 book to read, several projects, all pretty easy. Only bad part- if you like having a 'concrete way' of doing something, she will drive you insane. No clear way to do anything.
