Pretty clear explanations for such a confusing subject as computer networking. All tests are paperless and computer based.

Of course the first thing you'll notice is her strong accent. But don't let that bring you down that you can't understand her like that. She does do her best on explaining stuff. Do her assignments, pass her tests, and studying on your own and you're good to pass.

Nice lady, But she is not crystal clear when she explains things, which is why you must bring your book with you to clarify what she means in the class. Seems like a person that is will to work with the students. Needs to work on explaining things clearer.

Don't be late to class; do assignments; ask her questions. She did have some of the hardest questions on test but if you did the 3 things I've mention, you 100% A this class.

Now I know some of the comments really make her out to be really bad, but honestly, she's a nice person. Sure, I'll admit, the tests are hard, but she means well and tries her best to explain it, but with people not paying attention in class, sure their gonna complain. No one's going to give you your grade, you have to earn it here.

She has a strong answer but I understood her. I had no problems with the home works or project. But the tests are hard. They don't really reflect what we learned in class. And expect all the questions to be "trick" questions. Expect 4 or more tests +final. I would not voluntarily take her again.

Incompetent, degrading, ridiculous. Needs to go back to school to learn to teach the subject. Takes out her shortcomings on the students. Boycott her class. She is the WORST!!!!!!

She teaches well, except for the fact she is so unorganized! There's no way to tell how well you're doing in your hwks, because she doesn't even grade them until almost a month later! Tests are long, and tedious, but if you study you'll be fine. My best advise: take notes and study on your own!

Viglina has quite a strong accent that makes others not follow through with the whole lesson... Her tests REALLY are outrageously 100+ ques long smh. With the little that you will understand during the lessons, wouldn't be enough to pass her test, so lotss of reading recommended!!Overall longg, boring n more than 7 homework assingments (projects 2)

Her class is easy. She gives like 7 homeworks. Easily done within a page of each. everything in the test is explained in class; especially things she constantly repeat their importance.

OK -If you want to learn your networks and don't mind putting some effort into it, she is the one to teach you. VERY thorough and gives enough personal attention. Lots of extra/partial credit, too. LOVES her job. If you're lazy and just want an easy "A" or "B" by taking a few multiple-choice exams, DO NOT take Prof. Viglina's class!!

The hats she wore distracted me, she's incomprehensible, unlikeable, no one understands what the hell she is saying & she gives outrageous 100 question tests, where over half the questions are essays. Half the class is failing & she complains to us that we're not studying. If you ask a question, she gets flustered & acts like you're dumb. Avoid!

I feel she had issues in keeping her class in line. Some people picked up on that and were plain rude. She has a thick russian accent that sometimes made it hard to understand her. Her tests are medium to hard but take good notes. She's the nicest person in the world and knew her stuff but I wouldnt recommend her. To many minuses.

Her class is not hard at all. She likes it when her student ask questions so you should ask her if you don't understand something. Her exams and assignments aren't that hard either. Just study her notes and read maybe the chapter summaries and you should be fine.

Expert in networking, however, doesn't have the teaching and communication talent. The tests are pretty hard, if you study, you should do just fine. I recommend you to study all the class notes instead of textbook(but not a bad idea). I've never read the textbook, got an A in the class, I just study class note. Be patient w/ her, she not that bad.

She's a very nice lady that's willing to help you if you ask. Her tests and hw's are lenient. The only con is that she speaks with a thick accent and the way she phrases her question sometimes are confusing.

Well to start off nobody listens to her (the whole class doesn't pay attention to her). She is boring but knows her material. Her test are long. All of them r in blackboard. The tests r from the book so study. She has a language problem u can hear the accent. If you wanna learn she is the professor to take. She is easy and good prof. I recomend her
