She is too snarky in emails, doesn't help one bit. No printable notes for online class. Test were weighed super heavy and hard. I would have a 93% if tests weren't weighed like that, but I have a 77%.

Oh goodness. Crazy. Told us she wasn't going to grade homework anymore but that we should do it for test prep. Test 2 classes away and hw due next class. I did every other assignment b4. Because she said she wouldn't grade it I put it off. Gave a pop quiz where we took our hw and copied it word for word. Later dropped grade. It was a lesson. Crazy

DO NOT TAKE HER. She is hands down one of the worst professors I've had. She doesn't care about what her students are doing or if they pass. Not only that but she believes that everyone should be devoting all of their time to this class. For an introductory class, it's honestly ridiculous.

Comment:

For an intro class, she takes things way too seriously and is not flexible at all. Each day there is something due, and there are at least three parts to the assignments. And when you ask for help, you get berated for not already knowing the answer. She doesn't care if you pass or fail and is just not an overall nice person. Don't take her.

Dr. Geise is very knowledgeable on computers but is a tough professor. There's a lot of reading, and her tests are hard. Attendance is a must, and she expects a lot out of you. I learned a lot in her class though.

This class was ridiculous. She talked about her family a lot of the time and her lectures were long and dry. It was all from the power point like she couldn't think for herself. If you went to see her for help, she would ask why you weren't paying attention. She expects you to know all the information as she says it,

Would NOT recommend her. She acts like this class is your life. Something is due every class, quizzes you on material before she lectures on it and is not understanding at all. Material is also much harder then it needs to be.

She is not a good teacher not only because she does not know how to teacher, but also because her personal feeling about a student will effect her grading, not very fair. I got all As in her classes, they are easy, but I have to say she is no good.
