Great teacher, she goal is to get the student to love the subject. She is not easy, but if you do the reading and pay attention is class, her tests are simple to pass. She was always will to answer questions, and always had time for students.

I took Modern Writers with her and loved it! You have to do a lot of reading as there are quizzes and tests of course. She goes over what to study for the tests, just make sure you ask questions. I found her to be very helpful, and she is a great teacher!

If you are an English major, Dr. Spoto is a MUST. She is hard, but if you apply yourself you will learn SO much. Also, she is very professional and encouraging to her students, especially when they talk in class. She's seriously the best prof. I've ever had.
