Very good professor, passionate, and funny. He is very careful in his explanations, and open-minded to different points of view. He rarely uses the chalkboard and he doesn't use power-points. So if you have the attention span of child you will not like his class. Be prepared to listen, not be on your phone the whole time, and get to ready to read.

It was a very positive experience being in Dr. Yeo's class. He was keen to help, VERY fair (sometimes frustratingly so when I didn't get the mark I wanted but couldn't disagree with his comments or insight), helpful on improving writing knowledgeable with program requirements & infinitely flexible. A good man. Save me a yr when planning my program

Excellent experience and engaging lectures. Expects a certain level of effort and not afraid to expose those who are unprepared. Completely fair as well as exceptionally helpful. Willing to discuss any and all concerns a student may have. Introduced me to Orwell, a gesture for which I am exceedingly grateful. A good man teaching good classes.

Really interesting fellow, that M.Y. Can't imagine why so many people would be so disgruntled over his classes, unless they received bad grades. Even then, he's fair rather than impossibly hard. Excellent work gets you an excellent mark; good, good; bad, bad. Entertaining, helpful, incredibly bright, and interesting.
