Dr. Wang is very knowledgeable in the database field. She explained the database concepts thoroughly. She taught Oracle SQL and demonstrated it interactively with students online. She showed students how to do each homework and project and her expectation of submission.

She is fair and kind to students. If students need an extension to homework, she WILL extend it. She also goes over homework in class before it's due. She goes over one student's homework and tells everyone what you should and should not do now and in the future after passing the class. Also, go over w3schools SQL for reference. It makes it easier

You'll hear so many different reviews for her, but she's a great professor. She cares a lot, would make time for her students, and although her class may seem tough, she tends to give extra credit in the end. Great person. Had a few group projects but it was bearable!

Has an extremely thick and almost unintelligible accent, lectures are pointless since she just reads off the slides verbatim and it's posted on Canvas anyway. Tests are verbatim from the slides and textbook.

The class was fairly simple. Not too many assignments, 3-4 quizzes, 2 group projects, 2 midterms & 1 final. She pushes quizzes and tests back if the whole class asks her. She is willing to help you in her office hours. The only annoying/frustrating thing was that she didnt know how to use Canvas. She is nice and SAP qualified.

She simply cannot teach. She sets slides that you don't understand and it's not helpful towards the exams. Gave 2 midterms and 1 Finals. Doesn't seem to care for her students. took BUS 5027: accounting information systems with her. The class is a mandatory class but can be satisfied with another information systems class. Just avoid her.

I'm currently taking her class right now, but I can say this, her accent makes it hard to understand as well as her explanation in the class is absolute verbatim of what's on the slide. I believe if you truly can teach the subject, words on the slide should just be reference and you should be able to use layman's term and paraphrase it.

Her accent is hard to understand. She goes over things very fast and 4 hours class never seem enough for her to teach. Her lectures are unclear. Read the book and you MIGHT pass with A. Tests are tough and she doesn't let you make up the tests. Make some good friends, they may help you pass the course.

She has a thick accent making it very difficult to understand her. She will do half of the homework in class instead of giving examples but she will not explain how to do the rest of it. If everyone asks she will move back a deadline. I wanted to get something out of this class but it did not happen. I would not take her again.

Her tests weren't easy, but she gave us a chance for extra points on the midterm, but you have to solve the problems you didn't get right. Nice lady and will help if you ask and her projects are not too difficult, but time consuming.

Helpful and knowledgeable, but does have a strong accent. 1-Mid, 1-Final, 2-projects, & 5-Homework. She works with deadlines. Go to her office hours, look up the codes for projects online, and make friends.

Prof Wang is very nice. If you visit her doing office hours she will help you by going into detail. If enough students ask, she may push a deadline back a week. But make no mistake, her accent makes it difficult to understand her. The projects are difficult and her directions are spotty. Everyone had problems in this class.

CIS 454 - Special Topics (ERP/SAP). 5 Hwks, 3 Proj, 1 Midterm, 1 Final. Book had only 6 chapters and was thin. Class covered using slides/webct/ch summary. Easy class, helpful teacher, and useful to know. Enjoyed learning the subject. Highly recommended taking any course with her.
