Nicole is really nice! Very sweet. She taught New Student Seminar well, but for me it got boring after awhile (I'm an Admissions Ambassador so I knew a lot about MSU already). But for anyone doesn't know about MSU, she helps you settle in with college. No textbook (pilot program), zero tests, and you do EASY self-study projects as HW. Take her!

Really easy as a teacher, but too much work for a general class. Have her as an advisor, I think she's great!

Way too much work for a fake 2 credit class. A ten page paper? Seriously! I felt like I was in first grade in the class. Just because I haven't been in school for 11 yrs doesn't mean I need someone to hold my hand and take me on a tour. Waste of time and money!

I have been out of school for 15 years! I came back w/cell phone on and all. I got alot of this class and it put me on the right track. Yes, there was a paper and group project, etc. but it's college and it has to get done. I found her to be extremely helpful, interesting, patient and knowlegeable. If you can, take her. She's a gem!

She is kinda useless, as is this class, but she's also a really nice lady. I enjoyed talking to her She is the director's puppet in the syllabus. Far too much work for 2credits, and the whole course could be 2 weeks. a 10pg research paper at the end! YIKES..

A horrid advisor. Knows MSU politics quite well as she attended the university. Don't expect much help from her if you have her as an advisor. She has no clue as to what she is doing.

Center for Adult Learning - Re-Entry Seminar: Does not allow much latitude on writing assignments for students to demonstrate ability. If you've been out of school for a long time and need a base level course, this is it. Well organized, quizzes easy.
