Dr. C is a good professor but the exams can be diffilcult. Overall I would recommend taking her but you must work. Her lectures can be fast, but she is always there if you need clarification. Lets be real; you do not become head of the bio department if you are a terrible prof.

All i save to say is that i was not impressed with this professor. She make you do discussion questions that are hard, and effect your grade tremendously, if you don't do these good your grade wont be good. Do not take this professor at all costs.

She was incredibly helpful and a great teacher. I learned a lot and got a good grade. She is smarter and more composed than every other professor I have had. She is organized and very clear in her expectations. For biology it doesn't get any better than her.

I like her. She's energetic and tries to keep us interesting especially at 8am when all i wanna do is sleep. Shes helpful and i love that she uses study guides and case studies and clicker questions to help us on the test. The test can be hard but just read to answer study guide questions and you'll be good. Take her shes the bomb

Chaplin makes biology so interesting! I look forward to coming to her class and listening to lecture and her crazy youtube videos--even at 8 am! She is a fair professor who loves to teach, in return, you learn a lot! Wish she was teaching Bio 202!

She is very willing to help you improve on your test scores, since that is basically the only thing that significantly affects your grade. If you like watching movies in the morning, go for it. She makes it fun and makes an effort at humor and does relatively well with it. She is thorough, funny, has fair tests, and wants you to succeed- fine class!

let me just say that she almost made me pick between taking an examn and being in my sisters wedding... had to go through hell to get her to let me take the test at a different time and she was a jerk to me the rest of the semester... if at all possible dont take her... you will fall asleep and you will be bored!!!!!!

Tests are absolutely HORRIBLE! They are always worded funny and are really tricky, although the prof is really easy to talk to. If you don't do so hot on a test... good luck getting your grade up because your grade is basically all about tests!
