Comment:

We had 6 modules. Within each module we would have to read a chapter or two, take a quiz, and do a discussion post. He didn't really reach out to us throughout the semester, just the beginning and the last week, so it was a lot of teaching yourself from the textbook. If you don't mind that, then take this class.

Comment:

Professor Justo requires a lot of textbook reading for his class. He is an amazing teacher and he is also very understanding. I learned a lot in his class. Definitely take him if you can.

Comment:

Justo's by far one of the best professors at FIT. The subject can be dense, but he makes it very accessible and interesting and is always willing to explain a concept. Be ready for long oral lectures, no book, and only two grades (midterm & final), but don't let this scare you - if you want to truly learn from an intelligent person, take this class

Professor Justo really knows his stuff. His tests are very hard so make sure to attend every class, cause everything will be on the tests. If you want to learn and not just get an easy A, take him. He is so knowledgeable and you will leave this class actually learning a ton of stuff. No homework which was a huge plus!!! He is a great teacher!

Professor Justo is a great professor. He was very knowledgable of the subject and explained things very thoroughly. However, his exams were pretty difficult. You really had to think to understand what he was asking. But he always curved the results.

He solely grades everything on midterm and final which were pretty hard. He doesn't use powerpoints. Lectures for 3 hours. I don't recommend taking his night classes, it was so hard to stay awake. He's pretty funny and nice, but I barely learned anything.

Missed about 3 classes. Grades only based on midterm and final test, i bombed the midterm but he gave the whole class a huge curve on it and a small curve on the final too ended up w B+. He's super funny.

Awesome professor, one of my favorites! He is easy going, nice and although economics is a tough subject, he really cares if you understand his lectures and is patient and willing to explain concepts if you don't understand them. I wish more professors were as great as him!

Professor Justo is really knowledgable and easy going. The lectures are long and have a lot of information, but if you go to class, pay attention and prepare for the exams you should be just fine. He's usually late to class so don't get there too early.

Justo is a good teacher, although it is hard to understand his lectures as he teaches something completely different than is in the textbook. He does keep the class interesting but his tests are straight out of the book and do not correspond to any of the notes taken during the class lectures.

HE IS THE BEST!! He made a subject that i was dreading taking really really interesting. He is SO understanding and willing to help you in any way, and he is HILARIOUS. LOVED his class more than my major-related classes!! Take his class!!

Great professor. So funny, makes class super fun and easy going while still really useful and informative. SO helpful, and if you pay attention and take notes and study, you'll do fine in this class. I would almost rather die than learn about International Economics, but Orlando Justo made it bearable.

Super nice sweet guy. He really tries to make the subject interesting but its very easy to doze off. There's a midterm, in class essay/research paper and final. Very easy grader. On the essay, you can either get an A or B. The mid and final are really hard...but will still give you a decent grade if you didnt do to well on both.

Easy, can be funny. He doesn't make the test difficult. Sometimes the material is dry, but that is to be expected in econ. Worth taking it with him.
