Dr. Tomlinson is a wonderful professor. The material is difficult but it's supposed to be. For all medical field students this is the foundation of everything. She is extremely helpful. Read the textbook! It helps so much. She really does care and wants her students to do well. Her practicals are VERY FAIR if you put in the time. Amazing. Love her!

Good instructor and willing to help, but you NEED to work at this class. Do not put studying off or you will fail. Her praticals are very hard but fair. She lets you know what you need to know theres no surprises. Her lab praticals are usually all fill in the blank, very little multiple choice. Take advantage of open labs and the TA's.

Sucks at teaching. Slammed a door and hit my dome which still hurts. also, she was extremely boring to listen to, just ask dr. d.. does not explain anything in detail or realize this is the first time people are exposed to biology. needs to do a better job at being nice, and being a teacher.

she has got to be the worst teacher that I have ever seen. Im taking Genetics with her and she cant explain the material in a simple way for students to understand. most of the class is failing or just holding on. dont go to her for help its useless, ypou won't understand. If you have to take her my word of advice is get help outside of class.

Very good instructor, Very helpful. Thorough in her lectures and is always willing to help those who need it.The test are harder, especially if you do not know material, very low number of multiple choice questions, and most identify, so you have to know the words ahead of time. I which she taught AP2 lab since I would take her for that too

Very good instructor, Very helpful. Thorough in her lectures and is always willing to help those who need it. Tests can be complicated if you don't know the material. People say AP is hard, I say "It's Supposed to be!!" Recommended for those of you who have the desire to learn the material.

Really nice professor, very smart, very helpful. She is the type that want you to learn and absorb as much as you can. But on the other hand her tests are HARD they can make a grown man cry. But with that said, she is definitely someone to take, she wants to help, she wants you to learn and the tests motivate you to be on the top of your game.

Dr. Tomlinson is great. She is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about her subject and explains it very well, although it helps a lot to read the book. She puts all of the powerpoints for lecture online. She puts test banks on vikingweb and makes the tests from them. I feel like I've learned a lot

I got scared when I found out the she was the "hard" teacher, but after a while I began to see that she is a very helpfull person. Love the powerpoints, and she gives sample test questions to help you study. I liked the class.

Run like *#~! this is by far the hardest class I've taken in all four years of being at Berry. It was gen ed and I felt like I was taking some 700 level major bio class. She is very sweet and helpful, but the class sucked!
