Comment:

Firstly, Dr. Hecking is an absolutely brilliant man. However, this doesn't translate well to instructing. He can be difficult to understand (speaking and writing) at times, and his lectures can be quite confusing. Those faults would be negated if he followed the text more closely, which he attempts to do but falls quite short. Overall, subpar prof.

I've had this professor multiple times (being an engineering student). Dr. Hecking is a fantastically brilliant man, along with a sense of humor. He is a little hard to understand at first but it is easy to get used to. His classes ARE hard, but its physics, what do you expect? Overall he is a great teacher, + will help you if you ask him for help.
