Comment:

A lot of jokes. Some funny. Others not so much. But go with it. Make sure to read. Weekly T/F quizzes which are sometimes really confusing. Jesus Journals worth 10% of grade. Optional final great- so keep up your quiz average throughout the semester. All in all a nice guy; pretty interested lectures.

Comment:

A great professor and a hilarious guy. He really likes his Rodney Dangerfield shtick, and he wears pretty much the same outfit everyday. The class itself is interesting and is a very good Introduction to Christianity (which was the point).

VERY VERY nice professor. Extremly easy going...be prepared to laugh A LOT!!! during class. Weekly T/F quizes are not too bad if you read the book...but deadly if you dont. Extra credit to make up some lost points. My only complaint is the EXTREMLY high grading scale. 95% for an "A", However passing is easy..only 70% for a "C".

Very nice guy. Likes to joke around a lot but it makes the class go by a lot quicker. The weekly quizes aren't too bad if you read...but can be deadly if you have no idea whats going on. My only complaint would be the VERY high grading scale. 95% to get an A...but only a 70% for a "C".

I had him last year and I have to say; he really needs to cut down on the jokes/commentary. Lot's of wasted time in class when it could have been used for learning/preparing for quizzes.

Sibilio is a pretty funny guy. His humor is out there but it makes class somewhat interesting. The class content itself is not the most interesting for me. But if you need this class for core, i would recommend it. for jesus christ,optional final, is always nice too.

Dr. Sibilio's pretty cool; his sense of humor may need adjusting to, but otherwise he's helpful and usually nice. There's a 10-question, T/F quiz almost every week, so make sure to study, and there's no midterm and the final's optional if you have C or higher. Don't take his fat sister jokes seriously. Oh, and he loves wine.

Very odd class. His sense of humor is very cheesy and he's really really hyper, which is like nails on a chalkboard sometimes. Most of his quizzes are about material not yet lectured on, so make sure to read. Final is worth 50% which i found pretty unfair.

Guys, just as a correction. FOR HIS NEW TESTAMENT CLASS THE FINAL IS NOT OPTIONAL!!!! I signed up thinking it was because one of the people here say it is but its not. I think he put it up himself to trick people. TAKE HIS JESUS CHRIST CLASS ITS EASIER AND THE FINAL IS OPTIONAL!!

Sibilio is an odd bird. Lectures are nice because he does all he can to make religion as understandable as possible. He quizes on material BEFORE he lectures it which is ridiculous, so read the book. The reading is horrid though, unbearable is an understatement. True/False quizzes are harder than you think. Overall not easy, but the best Theo has.

Professor Sibilio was very helpful and I really enjoyed the class. If you take it, you will learn a lot. The class is in a comfortable atmosphere and Professor Sibilio is very understanding and helpful. Put office hours to good use if you don't understand something and don't skip class. It's not difficult and it's a lot of fun.

His 'Jesus Christ' class was easy, but requires you to do a lot of reading so you can get a decent grade on quizzes. He'll go over everything in class, and grants you an exemption on the final if you have a 75% or higher in the class.

Peter is a pretty cool guy. Definitely out there at times, but still alright. He keeps it light in class and if you have questions he's really good about office hours. If you don't like a prof who likes to have fun, he's not for you. p.s. he told me I had to put the chili pepper on here since I got an A in his class two semesters in a row!

I didn't like this class. Peter was very distracting and not funny. His jokes about his sister weren't funny and his fat jokes were so stupid. He wants people to not to well on his weekly quizzes- the only nice thing is if you have a B or higher the final is optional. Thanks god it was for me- I did and never have to see him again!

Sibilio is genius. who doesnt like to hear stupid jokes when learning about the new testament? well i certainly did. and he always jokes with the students he is cool with and makes the time go by so much faster. he is so funny and the class isnt bad either, although kinda hard to sit through early in morning and work can be tricky
