Prof Mancini is an informative professor if you pay attention in class. Many people complain about his use of overhead projectors and that he doesn't give notes. You have to be able to take your own notes just like in any other school. His lectures do provide a lot of information, but can be off topic. I would rewrite my notes after class.

HORRIBLE TEACHER. One of the worst I ever had. I have made multiple attempts at rating him, but for some reason they won't go through. Just trying to warn other students.

Expects you to be a expert from day one He says everyday "you guys should really know this stuff" Lectures about the certain information then puts questions on test we didn't discuss, expects you to read textbook & retain every piece of info Doesn't like to explain himself when something is unclear in lab. Gives a test guide then asks unrelated qs

Prof Mancini is incredibly nice so I feel bad saying all this but unless you are great at learning on your own you won't do well unfortunately. He is all over the place, does not necessarily remember what he teaches, and uses an overhead projector- no power points. He is however very approachable and easy to speak to. Attendance is a must.

Honest review. If you aren't well at learning on your own, do not take him. I did very well in the course, but it was all self taught. He is old school, does not use powerpoint. The problem is he does not remember what he teaches, and may question you about it on the exam, which he makes. He is an easy going teacher, but exceptionally unorganized.

Nice guy, so I feel bad writing this sort of review, but he should not be teaching. No powerpoints, he only draws sloppy diagrams on the board while he lectures. Super unclear, bouncing from one topic to the next. Then his tests are very specific. Half the class ended up dropping. I have As in every class except his... Do not take with him.

Prof Mancini is the best Science teacher I've encountered while being at SCCC. BIO 132 is indeed a a hard course but if you take good notes, STUDY for all quizzes and write your essays for the exams you will pass. Perfect attendance will get your grade boosted :) I received an A

I personally really like Prof. Mancini. He doesn't really teach from the book though.. He dissects all of the information and makes it so much easier to understand. I'm annoyed with the essays, but they're not unbearable if you take the time to study. Tests aren't too hard either. His notes are very scattered though, so make sure you follow along.

I took A&P 2 as a prereq for a masters program.. I have a Bachelors in Science from Binghamton - I've had many professors and many types of classes and I must say Mancini is right up there at the top. Reviews ALOT. Big attendance extra credit. If you read the book you will get an A. Its a bit of work but its not an easy class to begin with.

Nice guy but nice does not improve a students understanding of the material. He is all over the place with his notes extremely scattered and sloppy,he told the class on the first day he doesn't care about the book, and his notes are the only thing that matter. Extremely confusing to a student working on a second degree with a 3.8 GPA. Caveat emptor

Awful professor, so many complaints and he still has a job. He focuses on essay writing which is not equal to the test, so if u get a 90 on his exams he can fail you on exams, the essays are worth 60pts.

Nice man....terrible professor. He is in way over his head teaching this class. Very confusing, even to an A student like myself. Tried to transfer out after 1st week but there was no where else to put me. His notes are confusing and his questions are misleading. He doesn't have the answers to the questions his students ask him.

I love prof. Mancini..he cares so much about his students. By no means is this an easy class but if you do the essays and really show him you care you will do good. Reviews every day after lab so you constantly go over all of the material. Big on attendance but will bumb up your grade just for perfect attendance. All around a great guy.

Prof Mancini was a hard, brutally honest, but completely fair teacher. His lectures were so good i never cracked open the book. Hard lab reports, but they actually made the learning clear. Not an easy A but you will walk away with great knowledge that will help for 132. Hint take advantage of his office hours he gives good info here.
