the woman no longer works; she's retired (not in some permanent way, tho). took her for this cantonese series and had a good time. class was kinda informal and it felt like visiting your family (in a good way). had a nice time; wish i could take her all over again.

Ms. Gee is a teacher with a good heart. She is very helpful and her class is fun. If only I'm very good at remembering all the chinese characters...a lot of practice helps me a lot...

I took all three sections and she passed me even tough i got a D! She is always there to help a baht gwai, but was really hard on some of the Chinese students. Jungyi cha siu bao!!

no chinese background u will suffer but if u have friends or make friends that are in the class and u keep up ur vocab work and write write write practice practice practice and have a really good memory u will do fine on tests.

I'm taking Gee for Cantonese 1, and I have some background on it before taking this class. It's pretty easy from my perspective, but if i had no chinese writing experience, then the class would be going a little too fast for me. But she's a good teacher.
