Comment:
Dr. Paasch taught the lab portion of component design. He was kind, understanding, and very knowledgeable of the subject. Never made you feel bad if you messed up. Very understanding with the group project portion. Work load was very reasonable and well done. Felt like I learned a lot.

ME382 an enormous time sink. The grading was super subjective from the TAs and the biggest time sink (building the robot) required you to do research outside of class. Building the robot and being burdened by busy work wasn't fun. Our final report ended up being 42 pages. Almost made me fail my finals because of how much stuff this class needed.

He's a decent professor, I only have one real problem with him. He doesn't tell you how he grades, it would have been nice to know that he grades everyone pretty easy and then curves the hell out of the class so that a 96% is an A-. Call me bitter but I didn't expect to get a solid B with a 89.8%.

I thought this class was way too easy. The difference between an A and a B was whoever could make a better display for their project. I feel like I was not graded on how well I know the material but how well I could make a display board.

Awesome teacher. Really cares about his students, and he really knows good engineering. Pretty cool when it comes to the OSU pistol club too.

Short man syndrome with elitest attitude. Pretty helpful, pretty friendly. Tells you one or two points won't mean anything but then is exacting on final grade. Make sure you get all the points you're entitled to, it WILL make a difference!
