Worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life. I would rather have taken online classes and just do the class with ZERO help. He is there to grade you but not teach you. He teaches Stress Management and this was the class I was most stressed on the entire semester. How ironic.

He's the dude that makes his class do Tai Chi before going up to the classroom. It's honestly not that bad but in the classroom he lectures heavy and reads off the power points. Took two exams, midterm and final, with a couple papers. Honestly a tough grader and exams were confusing. Multiple choice, but the answer could be all four options type

The worst psychology professor I've had as I had to teach myself. Makes tai chi mandatory before every class (half of the class is spent doing it because he shows up late too) so the rest of the class is spent with rushed lectures. All we do is watch videos and listen to short lectures that make no sense. Try and avoid him at all costs!

Santee was hands down the worst professor I have ever had in my life. His class was the worst part of my day every single day. I can honestly say I have learned absolutely nothing. I had to take him for 3 different classes and I was so upset when the classes weren't taught by any alternative teachers. Biggest waste of time and money EVER.

He is hands down the worst teacher I have ever had in my 20 years of life. We spend so much of class doing Tai chi that we don't learn anything pertaining to the class. Also, the tests are weighted so heavily that all the essays you worked hard on mean nothing. Unfortunately I wasted and expensive college class on his miserable teaching.

He is not an easy professor, yes he makes you work for your grade, but it's sometimes hard to study for a test when he includes material not covered in the study guide. Record his study guide though, super important. Overall grade determined by final exam (worth 50%), even if u do well on assignments, you could still end up with a C.

He makes you do Tai Chi before every class. I really wish that was optional. Sometimes lectures are only 20 mins because 30 mins are used doing Tai Chi. When doing papers, format means more than anything. I got 70% on a paper because I didn't bold one part and I didn't page break after every section. Nothing was said about the actual content.

Dr. Santee is a very knowledgeable professor! A lot of students say he's a tough professor but I didn't think so. You just have to go to class EVERYDAY, listen very carefully and take notes. Papers required for his class were very straightforward; no research, but based on your standpoint. Lectures were all very interesting and LIFE CHANGING.

This professor doesn't clearly state his criteria very clearly. Don't rely on his test review session, he will throw you off to studying the wrong material. I regret taking him, it's impossible to get an A in his class. It's like his final is there to jeopardize you to doing well in his class.

Many have mixed reviews about Santee but I personally love him. He may come off as intimidating but having took 3 of his classes, I know that he is a lot more nice than you think. HE DOES NOT SPOON FEED YOU. You have to pay attention to detail in his class and take stellar notes. Otherwise you're setting yourself up for failure. Just pay attention!

Health, Stress Management and Counseling was one of the most relevant courses in the entire master's program. If you plan on entering the mental health/counseling field, these are concepts you need to be aware of. I can understand how some may find Santee off-putting at first, but he knows what he's talking about and actually teaches.

Ok so this is not the kind of teacher who gets his test questions word for word from the book. He is a real teacher he won't spoon feed you the answers but if you take his class seriously and READ the text you'll actually get something out of it and at least a B. i misjudged santee like many ppl on here have but hes truly 1 of the best teachers@cuh

DR. Santee is a very good teacher, he follows his syllabus and grading curriculum is clearly stated at the beginning of the course. He knows the material and is very helpful, those who have given bad review probably did not take the class seriously. If you show up, actively participate and show an interest in the material, he's great.

i had him in most of my psych classes and he really knows the material really well. his tests maybe hard and sometimes all the answers given sounds all right. if you attend every class, take notes and listen to his lectures you will do fine. he may seem intimidating but he is actually a really nice person.

I took his Taoism class and enjoyed it for the most part. He is very good at repeating information so that you will be sure to get it. The two tests were multiple choice and fairly straightforward plus he gave a review. I would take him again.

Head of department but often repeats he does not believe in counseling, says he does not like people, and they don't like him. Wrote worst text ever which you must buy. Narrow-minded, hostile to debate Egomaniac, bully, disliked and feared by other teachers.

He is cold and Arrogant! He teaches Stress Managment and is also the dean of Psychology. He is unclear in his assignments and takes Joy in slamming students for spacing and period placings rather than content of papers. He is in his 70's and is out of touch with the youth.treats Masters students with disrespect and does not like his book Challenged

He knows the material but needs to work on presenting it better. I regret taking him. He is not helpful. Class seems as if it's all about his ideas and does not welcome anybody else's. I would not recommend him for religion.

One of the smartest guys I've run into while at Chaminade. He may be the only graduate professor that is actually teaching graduate level material. His confidence might be confused for arrogance. It is difficult to understand Dr.Santee because it is impossible to see the world through his experienced eyes. If you want to learn something take it
