Comment:

He is the best and most fun math teacher I have ever had! He makes class so entertaining! There is math homework involved but nothing unreasonable. He grades test, homework, and pop quizzes very generously. You still have to put time and effort into the course to get a good grade. He is always open to questions. Take him you will not regret it.

Comment:

Mr. Quigley is such a nice guy! You can tell he loves math. He is very enthusiastic while teaching. He likes to call trigonomic functions a "family" like he calls cosine "papa cosine" He grades for the national AP calculus exam so he is very good at grading. Tests are reasonable length. He actually grades homework so make sure you take your time.

Comment:

Attendance is mandatory. He is very quirky and funny. I enjoyed going to his class every day even though it was at 9:30 in the morning. I would definitely retake because he gives you as many points as he can and will curve your grade. I probably didn't try my hardest but I still got a B+ in there. Homework is a big portion of the grade.

He is a quirky guy but definitely knows trig! However, I had a little trouble because it seemed like I had to teach myself. He is always available for help, you just have to ask for it. He made it fun because of his odd comments! I am not a big math person, so I wasn't looking forward to taking this class, but I would recommend him to anyone!!!

Extremely good choice for a Trig class. He is very smart yet somewhat odd. I guess most math instructors are. He helps everyone and makes sure you know the math. His grading is incredible. As long as you try, you wont fail a test. I am taking him for calculus next semester!

Very good professor, took trig twice with other professors and failed both times. he takes the time to explain the subject and reviews older material almost every class. One of the best professors i've had.

He really is a sweet guy, and can be a little hard to follow sometimes but he is a very easy grader, and will do a lot to help you pass. But it's up to you to show him that you want to try to pass. He's a teacher who will make you earn your grade. I liked him.

An absolutely horrible teacher. He makes everything a million times harder than it needs to be and makes students feel ridiculous for asking questions. He told several students they had no chance of passing the class early on and ignored alot of the problems foreign students had.

Professor Quigly is a pretty good math teacher. He mainly goes over example problems during class. Quizes and tests were not too difficult and his homework policy is pretty good.

If it has been awhile since you have had a math class, or are not a strong math student. DO NOT take his class. He goes extremly fast and feels the need to only go over things once. He thinks you should know everything about Trig before comming to his class. I wish I could go back and choose a different professor!

Very good teacher. Kinda started out fast but very good at making sure that everyone understands what is going on. If you talk to him about problems you are having then he will be more then willing to help. I am personaly horrible in Math and got my first B in a math class. The final counts for 200 points if it is higher then your overall test scor

He is a very friendly guy. He knows what he is doing and works really fast. Sometimes he even works to fast for himself. He knows the subject well and is willing to work after class with a student. This class isn't meant for people who do not have a decent background in math. Some of the material may seem foreign.

He goes over the college algebra material very quickly, so be sure to brush up on that. However, he slows down tremendously once he starts teaching about trig. He relies heavily on the book. I recommend getting the solutions manual. Be sure to do all homework, because it does add up. He curves his tests, which is helpful. I recommend him.
