I took her for spn1 and I'm taking her again now for spn2. I love her class! Yes you have to do the work and study but if you do, you'll be fine and she's very helpful if you need it. You always know your grade and the class is very structured, follows the syllabus so you're never confused about what's going on. Overall great teacher! Take her!

Starting Fall 2009, her homework, assignments, and quizzes are online. They are fair and relatively easy. She makes you stay for the entire class period EVERY time, and she mostly tells stories. She barely goes over anything from the textbooks or tests--she just likes to talk about spanish culture and upcoming assignments.

Ms.Davila is great! She is very helpful, nice and wants u to learn. She is super smart and well traveled so she incorporates a lot of outside things to the language. Attendance is important. Sometimes forgets to translate, but does when u ask. Work is easy. As long as u do it, and study for the tests you'll get an A. She'll help u if u need it

Very nice lady, however not a good spanish prof. Spanish is her 1st language and I do not believe she understands the challenges people have going from English to Spanish. Wants to be liked by her students. If you really want to learn, I wouldn't take her.

Easy class, but too easy. Talks too much about herself, doesn't incorporate with spanish at all. Talks spanish and doesn't translate it. Doesn't know English as well as a teacher should. Talks on her phone, doesn't answer student questions. Can be rude. Too immature to be an official UCF teacher.

Rosa Davila is the best professor I have had at UCF. I was not looking forward to taking spanish at all. I am the biggest white boy and sound so stupid when speaking spanish, but the class was awesome. The best class I have taken at UCF.

She was so helpful and made me want to learn Spanish. Not only did she focus on the language, but the culture and shared personal stories, which helped pass the time. A lot of busy work, but worth it. Defintely take her class if you can. You'll have FUN!

she is such a wonderful spanish teacher. i won't take spanish two until a semester when i can take her class again. she is enthusiastic about spanish and makes her class fun to be in...not to mention she is an extremely easy grader.
