This class would be much better in person than it would be online- thanks covid. Her class can be a bit challenging bc of the workload and how confusing it is but she responds to emails, promptly, and answers questions clearly. So ask for help when you need it and you're guaranteed an A or B. A lot of reading, obviously. Very understanding person.

professor delvecchio is the sweetest woman ever. she is the best. she is funny, so passionate and made myths, legends, and folklore interesting and fun. take her! i feel zero pressure at all in her class

Professor Delvecchio was the best thing that ever happened to me and I learned so much more from her amazing lectures about the bard. Yes, you do have to read but she won't lecture you if you don't like the story itself. Everything is based on class discussions, no group projects. Just journals and personal responses. Best memories I ever had.

Very simple class, for my Eng 121 class she only assigns 3 papers and a handful of classwork. You don't have to go to class every day but if you do miss a class make sure you check Canvas for assignments. Would take again.

Worst profesor I have ever had. She gives unclear instructions for what to do on assignments. She never gives assignments back or gives any indication of what your grade is in the class. I never knew if I was failing the class or doing well. We switched topics all the time and had no flow of assignments. I would never take her class again.

Definitely take her class. The entire course is about murder cases, making the class so much more interesting then just reading from a textbook. She works one on one with you and helps a lot with papers as well. You won't be spending to much time in class either which is never a bad thing. Very easy and enjoyable.

I took her my freshman year for english 121 and in her class we mainly wrote about murder cases. We had scheduled appointment times we would come in for so I was in her class maybe once a week. There is a little bit of online homework but nothing crazy. She was clear when going over papers what needed to be fixed and let me fix it. 4 papers total

This professor is very unorganized. She is a sweetheart but not a great professor. The majority of the class time is spent discussing stories that never once showed up on the final. Her class is an easy A but it is a class where you walk out of it thinking "what was the point of me showing up". Love her just not her class.

good option to take her if you want the C or C+ to move on otherwise if you want learn and not just get it over with then you might want to consider your other options she teaches this course as an individualized prep where you write 3 in class papers and 2 out of class papers and she grades them right infront of you I mean it's whatever :/ tbh

She is super disorganized. She has an individualized approach which sounds great because you don't have to be there as much but if you miss an appointment you will probably fail. Acts super nice but if you cross her she will not be happy with you anymore. Would not take again.

I took the individualized course where I met with prof 6 times (1 on 1).2 in class papers,1 out of class paper,1 research paper,& 1 in class final. If you fail a paper she allows you to make it up for a C. In our meetings,I did not learn anything and she barely edited my papers. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS if you have trouble writing and need guidance.

She is very impressive! She truly wants you to do your best! She tells it like it is and has a great sense of humor. The assignments were interesting and we only met about 8x the entire semester. If you work and goto school YOU MUST TAKE HER. She made me a better writer and thinker. She is an asset to the campus. I wish she taught English 122!!!

I have taken ENG 212 and 234 with her. She is an EXCELLENT professor who cares deeply for her students. Don't expect an easy A because she will return your papers and make you correct! I highly recommend her for English majors, and aspiring teachers. Shakespeare was INCREDIBLE and I was blown away by her lectures. Perfect Professor!

Took her my freshman year and first semester. Never have I became so stressed in an english class. It was individualized and i met wither her 6-7 times. 4 papers due then the final. She is a knit picker and if things in your paper dont look how she would have wrote them its wrong and you have to redo it for a C. She caused much stress. AVOID

I took a class where you met about 7 times individually with her. It was nice because you didn't have to go as often, but when you went she was strict. She is an english freak so she catches minor mistakes and says if this were any other teacher they probably wouldn't mind. Tough grader. But super sweet.
