Possesses little to no knowledge of the material and will not help you in any way regardless of circumstances. He gives multiple choice tests that often do not even have the correct solution as an option and for short answers, even if you show all work and get the correct answers he will mark it wrong to maintain the class avg unless you speak up.

Okay, DONT FREAK OUT about the other posts his class is not that bad. First, you MUST go to every class and lab, it may seem like he doesn't know your name and he doesn't care, but he knows and he does ! Second, there is no homework only 4 exams throughout the semester. Just go to every class and lab and he will give you a passing grade.

If you can't avoid taking him this is how you survive. Get the book and do the practice problems that he gives you in the syllabus and obtain the correct answers from him before each test. You will be teaching yourself. If you show up, do decent on tests and do the labs you will pass. I got a B+ so it is possible.

I don't think i can say a good thing about sung la in regards to actual learning. he just shows, does his lesson without any feedback or input for the class. LITERALLY. nobody has to actually talk for the class to go on. the book is a most because u wont learn anything otherwise. no actual grading criteria, no hw, like 4,5 quizzes and that's all.

This professor is horrible. He has thick accent making him hard to understand, he has 4 total exams(no homework), and he reviews for the exams. Regardless of all these things he's still a horrible professor. He goes over like 2 chapters a class and teaches way to fast. For the sake of your GPA avoid this class

Took this back in high school in which I got a D. For this class if I wanted anything higher I had to do A LOT of individual studying, which I did. I barely paid attention in class, however I did take notes so that I could compare them to my indiv. notes. Go to every lab and you get an A for that. Try best on exams!

How this guy still works at WPU is a joke. He falls asleep during class, you cant understand a word he says. He will just leave the class and not come back for an hour randomly. And dont bother asking him questions because he literally yells at you for not knowing what to do. He gives everyone a C unless you are some kind of genius.

This guy is interesting and kind of funny at times, but he seems better suited to a lab than a classroom. Difficult to understand his quiet English, and you have to study out of the book or else you will be lost. Doesnt seem to care much about attendance except for lab, and grades on a fair curve.

Hands down worst professor I've ever had. He makes a boring subject unbearable. Heavy accent, skips steps to problems assuming we know it and doesn't explain anything properly and when you ask where to look in the book he doesn't have a clue. Extremely frustrating being in this class.

If you have prior knowledge to physics you will do fine and Ace his course. For the most part everything that is taught is fundamental algebra. His accent is a little hard at first but can be understood. His questions from tests are straight from the textbook, so it's fairly simple if you study; of course a majority of the class didnt which ? me.

Couldn't understand him. Everything he said was followed by "Is that so?" in a heavy chinese accent. Once in a while he'd give us a chance to "express ourselves" (meaning a test) and I usually averaged a 60. Tobacco quitters were reclaiming their habit; I would have failed if I hadn't had a genius lab partner. Regardless, I had some good laughs.
