I dont understand who wrote that she is a wonderful professor. Are we talking about the same woman? Unless you too are nasty and have no social skills...I don't see how anyone could say she is a WONDERFUL woman. I am literally flabbergasted..what a joke.

She is an unnaproachable, rude, condescdending professor.Attendance is mandatory, which is a joke considering she reads off of a powerpoint all period. I retained no information in class. All my learning was done outside of the classroom on my own. Test review consists of her telling you to study everything. She is just plain nasty!

she is knowledgeable but not helpful. very strict in grading. she thought she had a grade review before exam but she did NOT. no extra credit so if u do bad in ur exam ur done. dont take her if you have other choice!!

if there is someone else to take, take them. She goes through too much material in too short time. She grades strictly on marks you get on quizzes tests and the project(yes, there is a long complicated group project) and she does not let ANY kind of extra credit--there is also an annoying quiz every week-dont take her if u dont have to.

There is a midterm, irritating project and a final, as well as annoying reading quizzes every week. The Woman is very knowledgeable but is also very unhelpful. She doesn't seem to care for her students. Copy all the power point notes and review the chapters. It is very possible to get a good grade, but I wouldnt recommend her.

She is an excellent professor, she knows the material and actually covers ALL of it. The tests are VERY fair so there is no reason you shouldn't do well and there are weekly reading quizzes that are also fair as long as you keep up with the reading.

Dr. Longtin is a WONDERFUL woman that should NOT teach undergrads. Try to avoid her class as she is ambiguous and tricky with her tests, which should not be the objective when testing. She is also lazy, but a great person to talk to AFTER class.

True, you MUST MUST constantly read the chapters. read and memorize everything in the chapters 3 times. And yes, she's not very helpful to her students if they don't understand anything. You gotta coax up to her though, it'll help.Talk to her after class, and don't argue or contradict her
