Comment:

If you can pop out a paper in a few days this is the class for you. This is a great class and an awesome professor. Follow the guidelines and pick an interesting topic for the second research paper. For the first one you have to write about your accomplishments in an interview. It's a super easy A and everyone should take.

Such a good professor. you literally have two papers due. one in October and one in December. literally no homework. easy A if you do well on those two papers and boom 3 credits. def recommend and easy class bc you can choose any topic on those two presentations so it really is up to you to choose whatever topic.

Took Haas during Summer 2020. Never got the chance to meet in person but was very accommodating to students during pandemic. One research paper you work with group requires ton of writing and brainstorming but he was willing to help his students and was accessible through email.

Great caring professor. Took for summer, two papers with windows to submit for drafts to get feedback back. Always available to help students with questions about the papers through email.

He's amazing. Yes this class is unlike any other public speaking class in that, you have to come up with well constructed speeches to do well. But hes there to help every step of the way. He gives really good feedback and you learn. just three assessments: 2 speeches and a final paper. attendance and participation matters. he is not a tough grader

Professor Haas is a good professor. He explains his requirements very clear. There are 3 assignments during the semester: job interview presentation, business-conflict solving presentation, and short writing assignment. Attend the class on time, participate, follow his requirements strictly, check your work for grammar errors, and you will be fine.

Cool guy. Explains everything well and multiple times. 3 assignments. Interview presentation, research presentation and 3-5 page essay on do's and don'ts during a job interview and option 2. Do the work and exactly what he asks for and you'll get an A.

One of the most wonderful professors I've had. Attendance is matter. 3 assignments: 2 speech presentations and 3 -5 pages paper about what to do and what you shouldn't do during a presentation or during an interview. He's clear on what he wants. But you must work, just "bla, bla, bla" is unacceptable.

I took his class in summer and it was very easy. I can just recommend to everyone. 3 assignments: Job Interview with a classmate, presentation about a job conflict and suggest a solution, min 3 -5 page paper about what to do and what you shouldn't do during a presentation or during an interview. Prof. Haas is clear and very fair grader.

One of the most wonderful professors I've had. He gives very detailed feedback to every student, he is extremely helpful and very respectful. Participation and attendance matters. But you won't even want to skip the class. Pr. Haas is very intelligent and he will give you a lot of good advises. Please take him!

Prof Haas is wonderful. He cares about his students and works with them until they get it right. He explains the goal and grading criteria of the class and from there it's a easy a. I've taken him in City Tech and I must say, well done. It has been a pleasure to have someone like him for my teacher. I've learned alot.

One of the best professors I've had! Yeah he expects you to do your work, what real professor doesn't? BUT he doesn't make it impossible. 3 assignments, 2 speech presentations and 1 written presentation. He's clear on what he wants and will remind you by letting you know what each presenter did right or wrong. Attendance is a must though!

Amazing Professor! He really want his students to be able to take what they learn in class and make it applicable to actual business/everyday life. Best Prof out there. Only 2 (easy) presentations required-- No homework, midterm, or final!! Gives great feedback and helps students at all costs. Class starts on time sharply so must be there a minute before because he takes attendance.

What else can be said about this amazing professor? IF YOU WANT TO LEARN AND PASS TAKE HIM! TAKE NO ONE ELSE BUT HIM! TRUST ME! Like I always say, I am an international student and trust me when I say this man is perfect! I learned soooo much! Three presentations! Just do what he tells you and you will be fine! He is the BEST! PERIOD!

This class actually helped my confidence when it came to job interviews. Note: 75% percent of class are 3 presentations and the 25% are attendance and participation. Plus there's no final exam. If you're Business and Finance major, please take him. He's easy going and a fair grader.

It's a course that involves job interviews, consulting work, and research. Don't buy the course packet. Haas communicates clearly, is very nice and has a great attitude, and is interested in helping his students. He is fair and straightforward, and what he wants is clear.

This is one of the best teachers I've ever had, TAKE HIM! He gives three presentations that you basically pick on whatever you want to learn for the most part. This class just made so much sense and the tips he gives you, you will use after you graduate, shocker. Love this guy. Easy A if you follow his instructions.
