He's a real teacher because he lives what he teaches. Although he rambles on a bit, you can tell he is very passionate about what he's saying. Super helpful as long as you directly communicate your problem to him. I took econ201 and bless his heartit was honestly not that hard.

Although interesting, his stories derail from the class severely. We did group assignments and activities that were insulting to college-level students. I did not learn anything more than my junior high school econ course taught. He did not respond to emails, lost several of my assignments, and incorrectly entered in grades 1-2 times a week.

I actually enjoyed Ted's classroom talks. He attempts to apply real world experiences to how the economics work. I found his stories to be fun. He can rample on a bit, but he tells you this first day of class. He also says to let him know when it happens. 2 Tests, mid-term & final are hard, but he gives you a outline of what will be on the test.

He rambles and often diverges far from the lecture topics resulting in majority of the class getting lost. Be ready to teach yourself.

Two tests, mid-term and final, make up half your grade. Quite difficult. All the important information is online and in homework. Aside from a few in-class assignments, going to class is not needed to pass. He gets off topic alot and rarely talks about what you are tested on. If you show up half the time and study a decent amount, you'll pass.

You can go to class but he'll just ramble on about random stuff, especially his own personal experiences. Rarely will he relate class discussions to what we did as homework. He comes off unorganized and didn't post the slide shows like he was going to. You're on your own if you take his class.

He's caring and understanding. If you email him, he will extend deadlines for you. Attendance is part of you grade, but going to class is not needed at all because all he does in his lectures is ramble about random things. He does leave his notes on the school portal but he doesn't help with connect problems or throughly help with the context

Very kind and interesting person. Not a great teacher. He rambles in his lectures and his tests don't connect with the practice material.

I had a HORRIBLE experience in this class. He was very hard to follow, and got off topic quite often. His quizzes, mid-term and final are very difficult and a lot of the questions don't relate to the material he thought, or what we read in the book. To add insult to injury, instead of staying the week of finals, he left to go skiing in Norway...

I had a very poor experience in Ted's class. Ted has horrible teaching techniques, and did not know how to properly demonstrate and teach the materials he was presenting. On top of all of this, his mid-term and final exams were very difficult and not related to the material that we were taught about, or read in the book. I would not recommend him.

Hard class, this guy doesn't know what he is talking about. If you take him be prepared to learn about Lamar Aldridge, that is one of his favorite topics. Also study A.N.Y(A New Yield), it's a big part of his class. The exams are really hard and his lectures are quite dull. I wouldn't recommend him.

Boy, where do I start? Between all the bonus points, extra credit interesting quizzes, exams and homework assignments, I really enjoyed his class. Study the S1SAATT & S1SAATM, there awesome! He did this experiment with goldfish that I got to be part of, it was AWESOME! Great to learn from such a great professor and Frozen Yogurt master! Take Him!!!

Worst teacher ever! He's constantly talking about un-related topics, such as his frozen yogurt business, then trying to relate them to learning targets. It doesn't work. He's very confusing, his lectures are pointless, he uses prior student's work to grade papers... Prior student's work that are incorrect! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Hands down, one of the worst teachers I have ever had. He doesn't return emails, and even lied and said he had. He's very hard to follow in class. He is very rude, and not helpful in any way whatsoever. I had signed up to take this course with a different teacher, and this guy shows up the first day of class.

Worst teacher ever! Lectures are pointless, but you have to go in order to get the worksheets so you can get the points to pass the class. Always talked about off topic stuff not pertaining to book or tests and was really into himself. Also very lazy, uses second hand sources to grade all the tests, quizzes and homework and gives zero feedback.

Terrible teacher. Does not understand any of the book material, which is mainly conceptual math with graphs. However, you are tested entirely on the book...online!!! Quiz questions change constantly. Teacher does not understand quizzes, will not explain answers. Gets upset when you ask questions. Defensive. Very disorganized. Tests are confusing.

Do NOT take Scheinman for any Econ class. I took 201(face to face) and 202 (online) from him. He is scatterbrained, inconsistent, doesn't explain things very well, and is offended by many questions. His tests are on a lot of information we were never taught and most things aren't even out of the book. If you can get ANYONE else, do.
